I agree with most of what you have written there, but it shouldn’t have been about Rodgers changing tactics, it should have been about us getting in the appropriate manager who played the tactics.

As you said, Ange played this way for two seasons and brought in the players specifically for his system, we needed continuity, even Ange mentioned this throughout his tenure, he wanted the club to play this way including in the youths. The continuity should have continued by selecting the right manager, not a big name.

To use Spurs as an example, they finally realised that big name managers are not the answer and it’s about how you play.

It's a great point about continuity and it's why BR levelled us up the first time around. Deila's style was very similar to Rodgers he just didn't carry the clout or have the man management to get everyone on board with him. The squad we assembled had potential and were used to playing high possession patient football.

Sadly for us this time round it's a total mismatch and it's showing on the park. Everything is different even from having Ange as a guy on the touchline just watching to Rodgers cutting about cuddling everycunt. Total culture shock for this squad.

Totally m8. Haksa looked as though he was wanting to do something positive whereas the majority of the rest of them looked as though they were just going through the motions. Something just doesn't feel right

Think ye hit the nail on the head there mate, sometning doesnt feel right.

Guess we wouldnt be having this chat if we were winning games and playing well but facts are we are playing * and the team looks like it has zero energy,no fight or passion and the seasons only starting.

Maybe things will improve as the season progresses but imo rodgers has not got this team playing for him and the longer it goes without improvement the harder it will become to sort it out.

Most bored I’ve ever been at a match,it was like that Simpsons episode where they see a game and the players just keep sideways passing it to each other, over and over and over.It was like a death march heading into the city centre afterwards.

Hopefully won’t be an attendance killer.
