Ajeti captain is interesting. I know it means relatively * all, but he must be showing some leadership in training.

Actually happy with that team, guessing Osaze isn't quite ready.

Ange Postecoglou will take charge of his first game as Celtic manager this afternoon as Celtic kick-off their pre-season friendly fixtures in Wales against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Hoops have been back in pre-season training for a few weeks and arrived in Wales for their 10-day training camp on Monday (July 5th).

New signing Osaze Urhoghide joined the team for the training camp after penning a four-year deal with Celtic.

This afternoon’s game, which sees Urhoghide and fellow new Bhoy Liam Shaw come up against their former club, will be played in three 30 minute periods.

That will give Ange Postecoglou the chance to see as many of his players as possible, and the Hoops manager has chosen two separate Celtic XIs with both selections giving several Academy Bhoys the chance to impress the new manager.

Shaw will make his debut in midfield alongside Ismaila Soro and Kerr McInroy in the first XI which will be captained by Albian Ajeti. The second Celtic side will be captained by Scott Bain and sees Odsonne Edouard start up front.

Sheffield Wednesday will be the first of three opponents Celtic will face as part of their trio of pre-season fixtures in Wales. Ange Postecoglou’s side will face Charlton Athletic on Saturday (July 10th) and Bristol City on Wednesday (July 10th) before flying home to Glasgow.

Today’s game will take place at Celtic’s Newport training base and will kick-off at 3pm. Season ticket holders will be able to catch all the action via the Pass to Paradise.

Matchday hosts, Paul Cuddihy and Louise Gould will bring you all the pre-match build-up from 2:45pm. Former Celt and fan favourite Joe Ledley will take up commentary duties alongside Welsh sports broadcaster John Hardy who makes his commentating debut on Celtic TV this week.

As well as watching all the action on Celtic TV,you can also keep up with all the pre-match build-up and live match updates on the Match Centre on the official Celtic website.

FIRST CELTIC XI- Barkas; Ralston, Welsh, Murray, Montgomery, Soro, Shaw, McInroy, Moffat, Henderson, Ajeti.

SECOND CELTIC XI- Bain; O’Connor, Murray, Hjelde, McPherson, Connell, Otoo, Robertson, Afolabi, Coffey, Edouard.

Team news graphic in positional order rather than number order. Exciting times ahead.

I think you should add that to the controversial suggestions thread.

It's the single biggest improvement in the clubs approach in over a season is my opinion :50:.
