Looks like Forrest is afraid for the big defenders.

 

One dimensional and lacking creative spark...why am I surprised? See this quite often

 

Hope Sammy isn't reverting to type he ussually does well in europe and scores in the big games but he looks like Sammy of old unfortunately

 

I'm positive about the tie, I think we'll qualify, but it's incredibly frustrating watching us. There's no fluidity or creativity and no strikers on the pitch.

whos gives a * if the fans made jokes and underestimated them, its not the fans on the pitch is it.

if we had taken our chances we would be ahead.

the goal came from simply not clearing a long ball, nothing to do with underestimating them ffs

We have a very, very attack minded team. Let's hope we can get it sorted at half time. Sammy and Forrest are ineffective, but we could easily have had 2 goals.

Sammy up top, Commons in the hole, see how Forrest gets on, if it a'int happening in ten minutes get him subbed and stick Matthews on or Ambrose to sit in front of the defense.

The gap between midfield and defense and the defensive line has me a bit worried.

Main thing is not to concede any more goals and to get the ball to commons on the edge of the box.

You just know their will be no changes till atleast the 60-70 minutes mark.

 

We're so predictable at times it's unreal.

 

Were just unlucky, keep playing like we did the first 10 and be better prepared for the long throws and well do fine

 

It's been a common theme throughout every single game we've played so far.

 

The fact that we don't have a proper goal scorer in the squad deemed good enough to start is an absolute disgrace. The board should hang their heads in shame if we don't turn this around. Which we should with a bit of composure and quicker passing going forward.

 

Still confident we will win. Would just like a 2 goal lead to take back to Celtic Park

 

My opinions of the first half,

Great first 10 mins with some nice passing and sustained pressure.
Forsters crap clearance and some * defending to blame for goal.
Couple of good headers from Van Dijk at both ends, looks like he could be a real gem.
Ledley, Brown and Forrest just not getting on the ball enough and the team in general not keeping it on the ground.

Generally we are lacking real creativity once we get into final third and every attack seems telegraphed and very samey.
2nd half I'd get get Balde on and play Sammy out wide on left, save Stokes for last 20-30mins then bring him on and use his movement against a tired defence (hopefully)
