Sitting in Boteco after being at the game and Hoops bar, Graces etc.

I’m pure sad at that tonight. Sadness comes from the fact that we just need to score in that first half. We were the better team.

From an Ange point, I don’t know why he didn’t make changes after their first goal. It was clear to see the boys on the pitch were dead and we needed those fresh legs.

It's a learning curve for for him and the team at this level, loads of positives from tonight. Not many teams will want to play against that intensity.

Just ignore him mate. Not worth the bother.
I get called a hun all the time, just because I am a nitpicker and perfectionist.

I’m commenting on his performance tonight.

Folk making out as if it was vintage. It wasn’t.

The worst * in football are these weirdos who sit kidding on they’re seeing things that others aren’t in regards to the small, tidy players.

I’m not disheartened with that, we were better in the first half and had a good account. That team was the one that won the CL minus one player, with a €100m replacement.

I didn’t hold out hope for us the night, there’s stuff we need to learn from it no doubt, but it doesn’t break the feel good factor for me.

Callum McGregor though. You are exceptional

What a complete whopper you are making yourself out to be.

    An absolute red face.

His performance was good enough tonight. I don’t give a * if it meets your definition of vintage. It was enough to beat us tonight.

Talking down one of the best players in the world over the last two decades only serves to discredit our players tonight.

Yes, it’s everybody else that’s wrong. He’s jammy to have been the guy that is the beating heart and architect of the team winning 5 CL’s and taking a small country to a World Cup final, finally somebody calling out just how lucky a player he is to consistently do stuff like that. How lucky he was to win Balon d’Or, everycunt else is clueless.

How good was Cal man. Looked a proper holding midfielder tonight.

Honestly mate, him and Modric were the two guys on that pitch who looked head and shoulders above everybody. And a comparison to a player like that is something I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do after Henrik. We’ve had players play above themselves and dominate, we’ve had guys like Wanyama physically dominate, the sheer quality of him tonight was something else.

I’ve said it since last year, he’s far and away, without any semblance of competition the best player in Scotland. Guys like Jota could get there and are unreal and a lot more headline grabbing.

Calmac is another level all round for consistency and the level he plays at. And it’s no coincidence he’s that and every player in our team say he’s by far the best trainer in the team. Love the guy man. Might be the sole reason I’m not devastated with that tonight.

Jota was far too wide out on the left and was out of the game for long periods rather than operating in the left channel more often. Was expecting a big game from him and it did not happen.

Juranovic was in no man's land for Real's first goal. Vinicius came up from deep and behind JJ and had acres of room to harm us.

No back-lift of his left foot so Hart does not expect him to shoot. Normal forward step with his right foot and curves the ball forward with outside of the right boot, very hard for the keeper to react in time.

Kyogo is our talisman up front. I honestly believe we would have beaten Real if he was fit to play from the start because the movement with him, is totally different to when GG is up front. If he had similar scoring chances as Abada and Maeda today he would have scored.

Which leads me to wish a big Dutch central defender tomorrow, with all my blessings, to kick powerfully into Lunstrom's bollocks way up into his throat, Tommy Gemmell style ! I want to see that * vomitting on to the pitch with his eyes bulging like a bullfrog and gasping for breath while asking for his mother !

No doubt he will try, as usual, to attempt to cripple an Ajax player within the first 5 minutes of the game.

Karma is a * Lundstrom, your time is near.

Being a bit Harsh there I think. We were up against World Class players all over that pitch , playing the current European Champions of which they won only 3 months ago, playing probably the hardest run of games they could have got. It was a first experience for many if our players playing at that level. This is currently the best Club team in the World managed by the best Manager in the world !!!Ancelloti said post match Real had to step it up in the second half of which they did. That is a compliment. Did you expect Jota, Abada, Jura, Taylor to go past players last night like they do domestically? We are a young team and pretty much still learning and building. Watch their goals again and you will see the movement on and off the ball, stretching our players overloading from the midfield. That first half was some effort and performance from our players but couldnt sustain it. Sometimes you just need to sit back and take it and applaud the opppsition.

Am I on a Real Madrid forum, or something?

How many times do I need to spell this out? I am talking about Modric’s performance last night.

Also discredits Celtic players? No, quite the opposite. They clearly handled Modric very well, as he wasn’t as special on the night.

What you and your and your wee pseudo-footballing philosopher peers are doing very much discredits the Celtic team.
