3-0 Hoops win. The Huns are in good form at the moment, but as we know that counts for nothing coming up to derby day. Not to fussed about seeing Ki in this one as I think it's too early for him but no doubt we will see him as our new audience will be tuned in. Would go for Fortune and Sammy u front with Skippy getting some game time in the second half. Hopefully WGS pushes through the deals for Heid and Robbo the very second the window opens so we don't have to see these failures on the pitch come Sunday.

    Not confident at all.

Shambles at the back and cant seem to get the striking combination right up front.

I think when you look around our side, theirs not enough people that you trust.

Heart ruling the head though, I think we'll just nick it 2-1.

It'll be a tough game but we'll nick the win,im goin to score predict though, never day for this game.
For the line up id go with:

    Boruc

    Hinkel
    Loovens
    Caldwell
    Fox

    McGinn
    Nguemo
    Robson
    McGeady

    Samaras
    McDonald

    Subs:
    Zaluska
    McManus
    Caddis
    Crosas
    Zhi
    Ki
    Fortune

Id like to see Ki and crosas introduced at somepoint. i think it would be better to start robson as he adds that fight that we need in games like this also start mcginn as the huns wont really know what theyre getting with him and that might prove to be important.
Is bougherra definetly unable to play for them?

    ---------------Boruc-----------------
    -------------------------------------
    ---Hinkel--Caldwell--Loovens--Fox----
    -------------------------------------
    --McGeady-Crosas--N'Guemo-Robson--
    -------------------------------------
    ---------Samaras---Fortune----------

That would be my side. If we're struggling for a goal bring on McGinn and Skippy. We without a shadow of a doubt have to play Robson, we'll get bullied in the middle otherwise. N'Guemo and Crosas can't shirk the physical side either because McCulloch will be all elbows for 90 minutes.

They'll score against us but then again we will also score because we create plenty, a lot will depend on who does first because if they do it's curtains.

    I'd play;

    Boruc

    Hinkel - Loovens - Caldwell - Fox

    N'Guemo

    McGeady - Zheng - Robson - McGinn

    Fortune
    -

Although I think Mowbray will go 4-4-2. That back four, with Crosas in midfield along with McGeady N'Guemo and Robson. And Samaras will be up top with Fortune.

The scum are getting too big for themselves these days, it's time we brought them down a few.

Let's get intae them, mon the hoops!

Hope your right man, Rangers are scoring for fun the now & to be honest tis scaring the * out of me, esp. how we are defending, We create more chances than them, but they take theres, if I knew we could take ours, I wouldnt worry & to be fair before that game tonight I wasn't that worried, but cos we never got to play our game, we don't know what frame of mind we will be in, if we had have put 4 or 5 past Killie the night, we could have said ye ok we are up for this, but the last game we played was Hamilton, & we scored 2 out of what? 10-12 shots? We need to take more chances. As I said in another thread I would love us to put 6 or 7 past Rangers on Sunday to shut them up, I know dream on, but still would be amazing if that could happen, but 3pts is all that matters.

    Mon the Hoops!!

At best, we will win narrowly. I'd seriously consider being defensively oriented, looking at the Huns' scoring prowess recently. 5-4-1 with a sweeper, at least for the first half.

i'm less confident trhan i have about fe ent old firm games, but millers sendin off merans there is no one to partner boyd up front so i think cautious smith will probobaly play lafferty upfront himself we need to take advantage of that and aiden need to step upn to the plate rangers have no natural wingbacks, he is got to rip them to shreds soon, and i would be tempted to take a punt on mcginn, samras or fortune, whoever partners skippy should cause them problems , boughhera is good but overeated and weir is a an 40 year old man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on celtic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have preferred if Celtic got a game in before Sunday aswell and maybe they would have scored a few aswell and that alone is a confidence boost ,but Celtic and rangers are top of the league for a reason ,there is still a huge gap between us and the rest and lets be honest it showed tonight ,,i said in another post earlier that the likes of Hibs and Utd had a great chance to step up to the mark this season because Celtic and rangers have been so bad but they havent done so and have missed the boat ,Celtic and rangers will now pull away from the rest in the next month and then its down to they 2 again.

It will be a different game on Sunday as they always are ,rangers on current form look the favourites but Celtic have a game in hand and if they win on Sunday its back to a point so there is nothing between them again ,im backing Celtic in this one because its there home game and if TM has done his homework on them properly he will see there flaws ,i expect rangers to be on the back foot in this game but Celtic must keep the back door shut when attacking because thats when rangers can be difficult they hit on the break ,but if Celtic get an early goal i expect them to go on and win this game ,it wont be easy by any means and we need the players to stand up and be counted for this and im sure they will be.

I seriously think they have shot their bolt tonight. They are * & i am confident they have used their goal scoring luck tonight. If we had scored 7 goals tonight i am sure we would have people on saying "i wish we would have saved some of them goals for sunday". have faith hail hail :50:
