he's human. the fan would be annoyed since lennon did not play well and the team lost, and lennon would be angry for getting abuse and also because the team lost. although i do not think a celtic captain should act like that.

 

hold on a minute. no player deserves personal abuse off of their OWN fans. he is celtic to the core he gets enough off of every other set of fans why should we be giving him abuse. Im sure if he has a bad game then he doesny need some * telling him. that WGS's job

 

They can sing what they want as far as Im concerned. What does pretending we're shocked achieve? What does banning these scumbags from singing what they want achieve? * all. It makes it easier to pretend that those lowlifes aren't right-wing, loyalist, uneductaed, majoritarian fuckwits. Until we walk home after the game or step on the wrong train and are reintroduced to reality.

 

Doesn't matter if the "fan" throws abuse at you, a player should never react to abuse from any of the crowd. He's paid more in a month than some people make in a year to play football... not to spit the dummy. I'm disappointed that fans would throw abuse at the captain though, especially since he was probably one of our best players today, but even more disappointed that Lennon reacted. He should know better than that.

I WAS AT THE GAME TODAY AND THOUGHT CELTIC SHOULD HAVE FINISHED THE GAME OFF BEFORE HALF TIME. WE HAD OUR CHANCES BUT COULDN'T FINISH THEM. SECOND HALF WE WERE ALWAYS GOING TO BE TIRED. POOR HALF BUT YOU CANT BLAME THE PLAYERS. HAIL HAIL

we should have finished the game off before half time, but the thing is : we didn't, for various reasons. just hope the players can lift themselves for the next few games as we need another nine points to win the league now.

I've praised WGS to the skies this season for changing things when games are not going to plan, so he can take it on the chin when I tell him that he made a complete c**t of his tactics today.

I know we're going to win the title, but losing to those * at any time is a sore one.

 

twice this season he has thrown his captain's armband to the ground and in copenhagen he tried to walk off the park without saluting the celtic fans. For a celtic captain this isn't very good

 

lennons done anyways,everyone knew that last season this season is just his pension

I strongly disagree, I wish he had done a cantona. some "fans" just deserve a punch in their faces. if I had been there and heard that, I would have slapped the so called supporter-muppet

 

youre spot on... i was sitting next to these two neds sharing a seat who believe it or not where actually talking about gang fighting during the match... now one of them said to the other that celtic fans are quick to judge their own players. then 10 minutes later they were moaning about every player who touched the ball and gordon strachan. I couldnt help but laugh

using referees bad decisions to cover up your team's mistakes is not right. we use the fact that we should have gotten a penalty to cover up the reason why we lost the game : we are not good enough

 

The buck stops with the manager in every game, and I was baffled
and dismayed with Strachan's team selection for a home tie, against
a second rate Ranger's team today,....

Fielding both defensive midfielders once again Lennon and Sno, ....and Kenny " Misser " Miller up front

For I believe Riordan would have produced the goods alongside JVOH..

I was also disconcerted with Strachan's failure to deploy his
substitutes wisely and promptly today.

He made the same mistakes against Milan, and it's a fool who makes
the same mistakes twice..

All in all, it may be a Blessing in Disguise....

We have still have to win this League now, and Scottish Cup, and defintely need to rebuild our midfield and front line for Next Year's Campaigns.

I would pair the Grave Digger with Hartley in midfield now, and play Deeks
up front.

My preferred midfield now would be Nakamura, Hartley, Graveson and Sno

 

Although Stuart Dougal is a * we can't shift the blame onto him. Celtic were * poor today and it showed we lack the quality to finish. We need a good foward pronto!
