    Huns Sectarian Singing.

    I thought you weren`t allowed to sing sectarian songs at games??

    I don`t know how many of you`s were at the game, but i was directly across from them in the Jock Stein stand.

    They sung;

    king billy, uvf, we`ll be coming, * basturds, no surrender, * the pope. :47: And many more..all credit to the Celtic supporters who didn`t react by singing sectarian songs back.

    Every hun was singing them and i didn`t see the Police chucking anyone out :31: :31: :31:

    Clearly everyone heard it and hopefully something is done about them.

    I am sick of this. It should be about football. Far too many people sing stuff that has nothing to do with the game or the club. I reckon draw up a list of sectarian/ inflamitory/ tribal/ politically devisive songs. Give the clubs 6 months to weed out the guys who do not primarily come for the football. Use a network of crowd facing cameras and mikes, plain clothes stewards etc After that keep the crowd facing mikes and monitors running and get official non-club monitors in and take 3 points off the team for every breach that can be proven. Obviously this is a problem with away fans. I think some form of detailed failsafe recording of the identities of the away fans must be made, possibly using serious modern technology. The cameras, plain clothes stewards etc will pick up the loonys. Fans caught should get life bans. No more fannying about. Football is not the place to play out political, ethnic, political and religious identitiy stuff. There are other places you can do that. There are plenty of proper football fans who would want those seats. May sound a bit big brother but other approaches have not worked. This needs an iron fist.

    Appartently Rangers sent plain clothes stewards to the game today..and the huns knew about it. Let`s see what action David Murray takes, i hope someone from the media has mentioned it in the post match interviews. Hopefully the paper will be full of the huns sectarian singing..if not i take it we can sing Go on home british soldiers at Ibrox??

    well said m8. if the supporters have nothing to hide, they will not mind being so closesly watched. hopefully this kind of approach might be successful.

    I once saw the Old Traffic camera set up. It was unreal. Everbodys face in the ground was covered at the sort of qualitry that would nick them on crimewatch etc. You could make a list of who ate a pie that day. I agree-if youve nothing to hide you dont need to worry. I may not even need to be permanent but I could see it needing 10 years to get it so that only football fans are at the football.

    i heard about it on the radio on my way home and here is what happened... neil lennon was getting abuse off of a CELTIC FAN and wasnt too happy, he then started to argue back and in anger threw his water bottle into the EMPTY away dugout. he was then escorted through the tunnell by the ref(who later had to speak to walter smith about some sort of payment for his shockin display... the ref i mean, not lenny)

    They have been emboldened by UEFA'S Softly Softly approach to them,
    and pandering to their appeals..

    Granted Yeah I do H8 rangers an say U loyalist scumbags when We play them etc but if I was at the Stadiums I wouldnt dare cross that line. I Love Celtic with all my Heart and wouldnt let a stupid comment or song get Me banned I would Be devastated. I cant see why people cant adopt this kind of attitude at Old Firms it saves You being banned from the Club You love(regardless which side)

    Correcto Mundo and the huns will never change. it's stupid and naive if we expect em to stop singing these songs.
