you'd think though that the manager must have told them this on the training ground, it's up to the players to remember to do it.

today was like most of our better OF performaces of recent years. No better or worse. Same tactic of toughening up the MF by playing a CM type player wide. It worked pretty well for a lot of the game and its just down to breaks going against us that we didnt win this by a couple. This was like the majority of OF games in the last 4 or 5 years in that we play much better football than Rangers in a fairly cautious solid formation but the result all hinges on a few key moments. A 1-1 is pretty typical and I would put this in the good pile of OF performances. The only reason people are disecting it so much is that we needed a win.

I tcould go either way. We played them off the park and won in the OF game this time last year then went on to slump badly.

the game now, yesterday will be like that every week for us as most teams we will face will be defending not un like rangers, at times rangers had 9 players in there box in front of our strikers and we will need to have a plan as how to break this down as we cant afford any more draws, so if the games require 6 strikers we must play this way more goals than your opponent never mind the defending part

The proof is in the pudding today.

We had to work incredibly hard to score a goal and despite numerous chances and the wide players doing the business umpteen times with the delivery, we couldnt make it count, the huns dug in and thwarted us.

The huns put in one decent delivery the entire match and the ball is in the net.

Our strikers cant put the ball in the net regularly enough and we cant defend simple * balls into our box (circa: Fir Park / Tynecastle / Tannadice etc).

It has to be sorted out this month or we wont win the title, simple as that.

It does have to be sorted out asap ,any new players that appear will have to learn and settle quickly ,we have rangers again at the end of Febuary i believe at there's and we must win this game to move on .

Ok so that's the last 2 OF games we've been denied the advantage by the referee :54: but that will be brushed under the carpet as per and we won't make a big deal out of it as per.

That confirms it for me - make the right moves in January (especially in the centre back market) and we'll win the League. We're better than they are, by a mile, and they are unbeleivably jammy mother's.

We had our chances to win and couldn't take them, then fell asleep at the back to let them back in, same story as evey other fuckup this season.

We're also going to really miss Nguemo this month, he was outfuckingstanding against them.

As for the referee, we shouldn't be suprised. He * it like they all do.

Well I was pretty dissapointed at the end of the game yesterday but after a good night sleep my heads a little clearer. We had those * in the palm of our hands the entire game. The decision to disallow that goal was absolutely disgraceful. A lot of people thought we were going to get trampled yesterday but our team played very well I thought. Now it's clear what we need to do. FIX THE TEAM UP! Like the post above me said, if we make the right moves this month we should win the league :50: :shamrock:

We simply need to make our chances count, another striker and a commanding centre half like big Bobo or Mjallby would do me.

We were awesome today, they resorted to gamesmanship (going down to hold up play etc) and why the * that * Laugherty did not walk amazes me! his challenge would have got a * junior player arrested ffs! the SFA better gie him a ban or I'll be raging. Fortune's goal was fine, in the rule book if the keeper does not have two hands on the ball the striker is perfectly entitled to make a challenge, and it did not hit his arm/hand!

Hopefully as we get in new lads, and they sell on we will turn this league around, however any more draws and the horse will have bolted. Say what you like about the orc scum, they can get results.:54:

I like n'guemo but the goal today was partly down to him he was originally on the post for whatever reason he decided to come running off it and the ball went in that side, poor show son. Other than that yes he was good.

Where do we go from here,I'm not sure myself, the chances are being created by the barrowload but we just can't put them away. A reliable source that I have tells me that TM has been given a budget of 5mill in this transfer window.
Take in account that 1.5mill will have to be spent on securing N'Guemo (which has to happen) it doesn't leave a lot for potential new signings, unless we sell off some players.
I'm particularly concerned at our lack of a killer instinct, and becoming more dependent on the the huns * up which is not the ideal situation.
TM has done all that he can to make this team function, the football was terrific yesterday but the end product is just not there, I'm totally down at the moment and will probly remain so until the next meeting at Ibrox, unless of course the huns * up before then.

On another day they could have scored 4-5 goals but it didnt happen but it obvious now to most that Celtic can handle rangers and yesterday proved that only one team wanted to play football the other did everything apart from playing the game.

Your source ,have they taking into account the money made on players being sold or is this 5 million over and above that ie if Celtic get 3-4 million on selling players is this added on to the 5 million?.

So you cant trust Celtic very much if your depending on rangers fecking it up ,there is 19 games to be played yet ,57 points and if Celtic win there game in hand its back to 4 points to rangers but you havent taking into account that Mowbray is in the process of buying players that are better than what we have [his words] and rangers cant buy a pkt of crisps .

Celtic will win the league thats my prediction based on what ive seen so far this season ,Celtic have played * football for most of it but they are still there at the top ,now Celtic are beginning to play a bit the tempo will rise and rangers wont be there to stop Celtic because they dont know how to play the game against Celtic without halving players in 2 ,Celtic will show them who is boss and will be champs come May.

i know and we cant drop any points til then in my eyes.also i havent seen the fixtures but i reckon the huns must have an easy 7 or 8 games after that run of games against the top teams so we will def need to be at our best
