Everyone Needs To Calm Down: Not As Bad A Result As It Appears.

Rangers NEEDED to go 10 points clear - i.e. to nullify our game in hand.

I have a sneaky suspicion Walter will be gutted he didn't win. The Gers thought we were going to be torn apart by Boyd. But, as we all know, Boyd cannot and will not ever score against us.

If we win our extra game the gap is 4 points. That's * all.

If we can get rid of our current 'defenders' (or goals_for_free.com) and acquire a new striker, we'll catch Rangers.

The only thing that p1ssed me off today was why Caldwell etc - if they know they are leaving - didn't give Lafferty a goodbye 'present'.

    Exactly

Walter was desperate to win today. This was meant to be Boyd's 'crowning moment' - well, if we win the game in hand it'll be 4 points.

    * all really.

correct i said skippy is the person most likely to score and should be on however both strikers played well but didnt do wot they should be ,put it in the net tyipical wattie game plan , we must beat a rangers team with half their team missing ,we dont have the mentality against them to win imo.

Boyd has scored against us afew years back, i think?

Gutted about the result... Regardless of the referee's * up we should have won the game but unfortunately McGeady and Samaras couldn't finish their dinner letalone score a goal.

At the end of the day that was half a Rangers team out there today with a 17 year old centre back.. Our easiest chance to beat them and we failed the board need to take notice and NOW. :38:

we couldn't beat them with half team missing. that why they are top off league. they are hard too beat. everyone talking bout defence as past few months but wat bout strikers missing chance after chance. i say well done to rangers and smith getting a draw with second string team v many our first team, if today doesn't show tony wat is needed then we *. he should be up at board door after that game demanding money asap. can't c this team winning that league.

Hopefully the way we played today will quieten a few of Mogga's critics.
Can't remember the last time we totally dominated a game against the Manky Mob like that, Crosas & N'Guemo ran the middle of the park.
Bear in mind that this still is predominately Strachan's team, it shows great promise for when Mogga gets the players he wants in, remember his Hibs team destroyed Rangers on 4 occasions.
Would be nice to find a clinical finisher & two centre halves in january, although big Thompson was on the bench today, & O'Dea is now back, maybe we would only need the one just now.
Long term, I think Caldwell, McManus & Loovens might move on, but would settle for one in & one out at the moment from our centre halves. ( hopefully Caldwell )

Give Mogga till at least this time next year to see what he can do, personally I think the future's looking pretty good under Mogga.

im sorry Kenny but if a player has no qualms about breaking another players leg then he should get no sympathy. If Hinkels foot had of been planted then Laugherty would have broken his leg. He's a disgrace of a player. Im sure your feelings about his comment being OTT would be alot different if the tackle had have broken Hinkels leg.

Decent play for us today, just disappointed with the lack of opportunities we had from free kicks and corner kicks. I'm sorry but Robson does not deserve to start anymore, it's pathetic. Our defending of set pieces is horrible as well. Besides that, I thought we played well.

Mowbray put a good team out, and we played well, better than I expected. We still didn't keep a clean sheet, and that's what screwed us up. The January transfer window is in progress, and I expect a CB and a CF. With such improvements, and the style of play we showed today, the league will be ours once more.

Cannot believe we do not win this game. A lot of talk about the 2 big decisions that the ref got wrong. But really at the end of the day we had as close to total domination of the game as you get in a derby and plenty of chances to win which we simply didn't take.

Of the 2 big decisions for me actually the no red on Lafferty was the bigger one as we were dominant anyway and that would have put them further deep into their own end. Plus Lafferty was very important for them defensively on set pieces while I think it was Lafferty that won them the corner which they scored from.

At the end of the day though it is a joke that we don't win that game and as horrible as they ref was with those 2 decisions we still had plenty of chances to have won comfortably.

I would like to revamp 'fritz a grand ol team' as its a bit old and cheesey, needs some fat beats
Samaras and Fotune give me a headache I just cant work them out, ultimately they are players with some great attributes but finishing isnt one of them, for that reason I would like to see a proper center forward, old fashioned striker playing with mcdonald. Get one of those and we are in business because we battered rangers in nearly every area today and were the better team by a country mile.. lots of positives today for me, the negative was the same negative that sums up our season so far, not good enough in front of goal and went to sleep for there goal. Credit to rangers for being resiliant but I think we can improve and really look like a better team,
