Exactly, form doesn't always affect Celtic/forces of evil games but I'm confident on the atmosphere being * unreal on Wednesday,

Swally will set out to defend and not lose this one. He simply doesn't know any other way with the squad he has. He knows a thrashing will see calls for his head especially after throwing away such a big points lead. He may try Lafferty and Jelly up front but with no creative players when he has tried that it so often doesn't work.

Lenny will I think set out to control the midfield and be wary of them hitting on the break. Based on that I think it'll be a tight game and I'd settle for any kind of victory, but obviouslly hope we can win in style. Three points is all that matters to the Bhoys not how we get them.

Team selection will be a key indicator of how this one is likely to go.

Its mad that half of you think it will be very tight, and others predicting a 6-2 type score. As many have said before, these games are so hard to predict. I think most people would settle for the 3 points regardless of score or performance. If we are sitting top of the lge on Thursady morning il be delighted.

I think the atmosphere will help us, and hopefully strike fear into them. Il be on the Ferry from 7am from belfast, and its fair to say come 7.45pm il be tipsy and raring to go, like many others i feel.On the off chance does anyone know if any off the bars in Gallogate will have a group on before the game.

    HAIL HAIL-ROLL ON THURSDAY.

We are saying that for years now. I guess it will be a very tight game. It might end up in a dull scoreless draw.

All the bars on the Gallowgate have been read the riot act by the cops mate regarding wednesday.
Bouncers on doors. No drunks on premises. No overcrowding of capacity.
No "sectarian" singing or chanting. No empty bottles or glasses to be on tables..Also the cops are going to strictly enforce the new Challenge 25 legislation, which came into being in October.
Basically this is how it works......Bar staff and owners must challenge anyone who appears to be under 25 to produce valid i.d to prove that they are over 18 ??? Yes,* crazy.
If cops can prove that anyone hasnt been challenged then the bar staff will be charged with acriminal offence.
However if you care to go to Bridgeton or Duke Street for a pre match refreshment then I'm sure you will encounter none of the above.

This might be an awful Rangers team, but all the other sides in the SPL are worse than then, and we rarely thrash other teams.

    I'd go with:

    -------------------------Forster------------------------

    Cha-------K.Wilson-----Wanyama--------Mulgrew

    ---------------------------Kayal------------------------
    ------------------Brown------------Ki-------------------
    -----Forrest--------------------------------Samaras--

    -------------------------Hooper-------------------------

If Adam Matthews is fit then i'd play him at RB instead of Cha.

No way do I want Izzy in against the thugs. They will hurt him purposley. We need him for the title run in.

We can beat them without him. We could beat them with any team at the minute if we keep cool and play our own game. Don't get sucked in to their couter attack/super defensive play.

Hopefully no-one has anything mental planned. The eyes of the World are upon us. Some are looking to see if rumours are true. Some are looking to see if we are the demons Scotland have been making out.

I see your point but I think we should give Izzy a bit of a chance. Even if it's only for the last 10 minutes or something.

they'll come to Paradise and park the bus. i have no doubt of that. you look at their team and you can only see goals coming from Jelavic and they've seen to dry up since Naismith has been out. park the bus and kick lumps out of us, that'll be their game plan.

    my team would be...

    Forster
    Cha...K. Wilson...Wanyama...Mulgrew

    Kayal
    Brown..........Ledley
    Forrest.............................Samaras
    Hooper

no score predictions. i don't want to jinx it. i just hope we stamp our authority on the game.

Can anyone confirm if Goian and hatchet will miss the game? Thought suspensions usually take a week or so to go through?

Huns can appeal hatchet man but not Goian. If they appeal no way it will be heard before Wednesday I don't think.

Goian is definitely out as you can't appeal his two yellows, McElbows possibly could play if they appeal in time, yet its quite likely both will be suspended for the OF game.
