I was thinking about that team too lewis, but that team was put out to try and contain a team at the top of Serie A, we need to pummel this * rangers team. Which is why i feel we have to go with two up top in Stokes and Hooper.

Too soon to be talking about this. Let us just concentrate on the next game and getting 3 points! Well done to our Manager and the Bhoys today for getting the 3 points after our trip to Italy where, by the way, we played well! In lennon I trust!

No more stupid banners please! In real Celtic fans, I trust!

See if we drop Stokes for these smelly *, I will be * raging. I think we are getting ahead of ourselves concerning the fitness and return of Izzy. I would say he will be available for the match alright but he needs time to come back from this injury, not just thrown into such an important game. Big blow having Maj get injured as Jelavic is the exact striker he thrives on. All out attack and we will pump these arseholes but I am fearful Lennon is going to take the cautious approach again which would be a big mistake. This is the team I would go for:

    ---------------------Forster--------------------
    Matthews-------Rogne---Wanyama------Mulgrew
    Forrest---------Kayal------Ledley-------Samaras
    ----------------Stokes----Hooper---------------

Tbf to Sammy, he has been very impressive the last while so I would give him a go here. If we hit top form, we will hammer the huns. Absolutely no doubt about that but it is unthinkable to drop Stokesy imo. Hopefully a strong bench as well with Broony, Commons (fitness) and McCourt to come on if things dont go to plan

    * the huns

Willie Collum has just got the nod to ref this game. We will not win this now.

Are Rangers in for a hiding on the 28th?

Celtic are playing as consistent and as good as they have this season.

Samaras suddenly looks like a world beater again.

Hooper is scoring goals for fun.

The defense isn't leaking daft goals.

The pacy and attacking dynamism play of Matthews and Izagurrie could be ready for this game.

From what i've seen of Rangers they are playing pish right now. A few of my Rangers supporting mates also say this. Devoid of quality, creativity and invention and playing one up against lower league SPL teams doesn't exactly indicate that McCoist has confidence in his side.

Are they in for a hiding on Celtic Park if things come together? I can see it.

Well said, hate it when we get carried away. Season so far has shown that we have difficulty breaking down teams who sit in.

Bet that is how he will set out his stall. To frustrate and then hope to hit on the break or through an honest mistake.

No such thing as a foregone conclusion in this fixture.

3 points will be delightful, end of.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to pummle them but I'll bite your hand off for 3 points right now!!!

Also not sure if this game comes too soon for Izzy - personally I wouldn't play him, as fat swally will send his cloggers out to put the boot in and we need him back, not out again!

A bounce game or two for Izzy first IMO.

Also the appointment of Gollum as the ref has just made things a bit tougher!!!

If we match their commitment, and their desire to win, then we will hammer them.

Never EVER predict an Old Firm game. We were meant to win the last one 100% according to some on here and look what happened.

This thread will end up being a blood jinx. bin it!

    You can't predict the unpredictable.

Far too many times have I seen people say: "aw this one is going to be a massive victory like 5-0" and then we get beat.

So for me it could go either way. We need to be well organised and fully commited.
