Griffiths can't be happy about this; gets his head down, works hard, stops being a * off the pitch, scores loads of goals, and gets dropped.

Maybe he's just too ugly to play for Ronny.

Their goalkeeper is crap and they are quite small in size.We should dominate from set plays .Hopefully no defensive howlers and we should be good. 2-0 Celtic...Van Dijk,Griffiths.

sorry but a closed door game doesn't compare to a fully blooded tie between 2 sides desperate to win.

Usually if you download Live Media Player app, you can search 'football' or 'celtic tv' or 'bt sports' Etc and just try all the results til you find it.

May be a struggle tonight though, sorry. Hope you find something!

That's the plan I think and I agree with it.
Gives Ciftci more vital game time, and we can unleash Griffiths later if and when necessary. It's a calculated gamble.

Closed door games players are under the watchful eye at all times, if they don't put in a shift they get totally bollocked. Played in some in my younger days. They ain't a walk in a park.

It is a fair point though mate, see what you're saying :50:

I think Ronny beleives the team plays better as a whole with someone to hold the ball up that end of the pitch and brimg the midfield into play. He's been very good at doing that so far.

Griffiths should be starting for me nontheless but it's not a crazy decision.

I can't argue with that at all and we aren't too far away. I just feel right now, when we need a goal when we snuff out 2/3 chances for the forward, Griffiths will take them. The fine line could be that tight between going through or dropping out..

Ronny will be shouldering a lot of the blame for not starting Griffiths if we don't get a good result tonight.

So Griffiths on the bench again, and we start with Ciftci. Hopefully tonights the night for big Nadir to get on the scoresheet. Mon the Hoops :celt_2:

Agreed, it's the main reason I'd have Griffiths there. I don't trust Johansen, Armstrong and GMS to be clinical enough.

It'd be a different story if we had a fully fit Commons there and available though. Griffiths and him are the two natural scorers in our team, both are on the bench.

Johansen has done very well but he's not a natural infront of goal.

Reynaldo has a goal in every 2nd game (93 Appearances). It's big Virgil or Boyata that need to be on their game tonight more than Nadir.

Bang on with that, GMS seems our best finishing midfielder outside commons, stokes is a forward so not counting him. Johansen does have the finesse (spelling) but isn't consistent enough in front of goal..
