Yes you can, it happens all the time in business. Especially where you have a known guaranteed income source.

As for the game, it's been pretty poor fom us. Defence is as bad as it looks on paper, plus we haven't had much going forward either without Forrest, Mikey or Dembele. Not ideal with Tuesday in mind, but not realy unexpected.

Was there a single attacking move down the right? Moffat has been a highlight until this game but completely unused this first half.

Preston are a wee step up in class but still not top drawer and Tuesday's opponents will be a lot tougher so I am really worried. We look very ordinary and are lucky Scotty Sinclair never went down under that challenge from Welsh. McGregor and Turnbull carrying the team but it's painfully obvious we are well short on what we need to, not only cope in the Champions League qualifiers, but also our own domestic league.

I honestly think he would’ve gave Preston serious hardship in that first half down the left, clean slate and all that

Ajeti can't get into the game not sure he is suited to the lone striker role the keeper playing outside his box is a worry I know other teams keepers play this but they have better defenders than we do (Liverpool,Man City)

I think he will give boli another shot and I think he’ll do well. I would still much prefer to sign a higher calibre LB don’t get me wrong but rn he’s a much better option than Taylor I think

That’s why there’s a difference between me commenting as Celtic manager and as Celtic supporter. A) I ain’t the manager, b) I’m speaking realistically imo.

But yeah, we’re only signing “backwater” players ffs, now who’s being pessimistic????

Nah don't get me wrong mate, I'd be all for punting Boli to an uninhabited island wae a fishing rod and a pen knife. A just mean I've always said Taylor was the better option. Am now reconsidering!

What guaranteed income? We haven’t even played a game in Europe yet, nevermind a double header against a very formidable side…

I think we're almost guaranteed europe this year no matter what with the introduction of the Conference league. The money we can make from it isn't far off the EL, good example is winning in the EL is worth 630000 euros where-as the Conference league is 500000.

Obviously EL is the goal, and winning against Midtjylland essentially confirms it, but the ECL isn't as * as I was expecting.

I know some people have been saying Ajeti will get 20+ goals this season, I just don't see, game passes him by far too easily
