3 at the back works when teams are sitting in against us but they are wll over the place when teams are pushing forward against us

Jozo is a * calamity. Would rather stick hendry in with ajer against zenit instead of that lanky streak of pish.

We need to sort whatever the * is going on. We’re playing like a mediocre Scottish team and we’re about to play Zenit.

    * sort it.

Defence gets a lot of stick again today but there’s issues all over the park. We’re struggling to make enough chances and constantly making wrong decisions in the final third.

We’re not playing as a team at the moment and it looks like it’s getting worse.

Rodgers will sort it I’m sure but I think it will be a painful run in.

Simunovic is comfortably the worst defender in the team. Can't be trusted in a cup tie at home to Partick Thistle. No chance against Zenit. Both goals lie squarely on his shoulders.

Brilliant from Jamesy. Big Ajer was excellent as well but Jozo's a big worry for Thursday, just looks completely devoid of confidence.

    Another step towards the treble.

We scored 3 goals. Enough to win any game. It's the car crash of a defence that still isn't sorted that made it so uncomfortable

We are our own worst enemy and Dembele must have a twin brother playing out there for him

    Shocking player at the minute

Dembele was poor yet again today.

Hopefully Thumb can sort out his injury problems as we're a far better side when he plays.

Simunovic was 100% at fault for the first, and was bullied by Sammon for the second. Not a great day for him.

Ajer looks a player, though. Brown and Forrest excellent. Thought Tierney lifted his game in the second half and gave us a good outlet down that side.

Dembele looked like he was trying a bit harder in the second half, and his movement was certainly better, but he's not right. I wonder if he's one of those guys that needs game to find his form. Remember how things started for him at Celtic? Maybe he needs to be playing regularly to have that sharpness.

Well we won but just about. You can have all the possession in the world, but * about at the back and the score looks closer than it should have been. Apart from Forest no pass marks. Lack lustre performance, so slow at going forward, one bit of play Mousanda had the ball about 22 yards from Thistle goal , 3 passes later it was back with Jozo just about our penalty box. A better team today would have taken something off us, defence look all over the place when we are attacked, there is no confidence in the back line at all, prob due to all the chopping and changing. Brendan sticks with Sinclair again, he might be the highest scorer but gives nothing the rest of the game, seriously lacking in confidence as you could see with the through ball from Broony. Thistle could have equalised at the end, we need to start improving if we have any aspirations of going further in the Europa cup.

Thought Edouard was good when he came on. If dembele keeps playing like that I'd drop him for odsonne. FairPlay to Forrest he won it for us

Dembele was gash but * me he is Isn't helped by our system, 4231 is too predictable it's * embarassing, Sinclair is playing * so leaves us an attacker down, we are winning games purely because we have better players like Forrest who come up with individual brilliance, last year it was individual and team brilliance. We need to sort whatever the fick is going on because while we are on course for a treble it's just not good enough performance wise considering the talent on show

He was at fault for both mate. He passed the ball right to the thistle player, for the second.

Well that was harder than expected. Still, we're through; I'll take that. Back-to-back trebles still a possibility.

Thanks to Crow @Notorious for the stream (the "Catchup" one worked for me).

Dembele has been poor because we never find him, he is coming deeper each game to try and get a touch, our build up play allows defenders to close any space that Dembele finds.
