I remember saying "There's no way he hit one again" as he lined up for the second FK. I'm just floored by what I've seen tonight!

That was fantastic tonight. Was a bit tough going first 30 minutes, with Partick making it difficult, and we were struggling to get in behind them.

But when you have the quality of Guidetti in your team then those free kicks on the edge of the box actually mean something- what a performance, we seriously need to do everything possible to get him signed on a long term contract. Please Celtic, plz plz plz,

Was the best 45 minute I've seen in the second half this season- we upped the pace and took full advatage of having the extra man.

Just delighted we are thru, lets keep the run going Celtic.

Can't wait to Saturday now :icon_mrgreen:

Agreed. That was really evident at the sending off, about half the team leapt to Guidetti's defence. :smiley-laughing002: Great to see.

I said the other day that results were the most important thing at moment, because everything just flows from putting a run together.

So it seems to be panning out.

I would hope Ronny has bought some grace now and people wont be going radio rental if we were to lose a game in the not too distant future.

Think we have to give the defence some credit too. Lustig back at right back has given us some balance to the defence, two clean sheets now, and no longer having to worry about Ambrose back there is a big plus factor.

    Spot on.

Honestly forgot about Ambrose which makes a change. Usually I am * my pants at the prospect of him starting.

This rest might do him good who knows..

This is what I'm looking for in particular. We need stability right now, and Ronny needs support to at least the new year. We'll see how much faith the board have in him, then. He needs financial support.

It's nice having players like Denayer, Wakaso and Guidetti, but we have no stake in their futures. They could be recalled in a few weeks. Then what?

Right now, £5million for Guidetti looks like a belter of a deal.

That was the figure that the Daily Rag plucked from the sky yesterday. I would be taking it with a mountain of salt.

You know fine well the "Ronny Out" murmerings shall re-appear at the next points dropped considering Celtic fans are fickle fuckwits that demand INSTANT success........since they are all perfect themselves n' aw that......

They probably want about £500,000 for him, and the DailyWankrag have just stuck an extra zero on for sensationalism.......

More than likely mate. I wouldn't believe the date written on it. I wonder which one of their sports journos were able to get in contact with Man City and find out the figure

The tabloid newspapers lead supporters of this Club a merry dance, completely disregard them. No one should be buying or even reading them anyway, they are finished in Scotland - news comes from source now through Social Media.

Guidetti isn't going to cost anyone £6 million, why would he? You'd be paying that to have him for 9 or 10 weeks. He can sign a pre-contract in January.

We have an advantage in January, English clubs can't offer him a pre-contract till the summer, so I'd put it between us and Feyenoord for him.

It's amazing how good you feel the following day after a great Celtic performance, hopefully things are starting to come together now.

Gutted I wasn't able to watch this. Rang my bro mid-second half to find out the score and was gobsmacked :67:
