Fantastic today. Brilliant. Only annoying thing is where has that Armstrong been all season? He was brilliant today. Get Rogic on a proper contract as well, love him. Christie should def be in and amongst the starting XI next season. So chuffed with that today. :celt_2::shamrock::50:

I think this is wrong mate. The players were totally relaxed today and Motherwell were *. It honestly could have been 15 never mind 10. Bitton wasnt playing, Brown wasnt playing, 2 of our best midfielders, and yet, as you said, 7 players scored.....which tells me it was a day to enjoy, but not one to take seriously.

    We can say this now.
He was quick minded to see the possible chance.
Got his goal in the end. Some of his inter-play with Rogic, Armstrong and Roberts was outstanding yesterday

    Agreed.
Just a shame as Ronny was building some team, as we seen yesterday. Sadly in pressure, the players folded this season. Had we played like this all season, Ronny would have got new contract. He lernt too late. Ronny will be some manager soon..

If Gordon plays like he did last season
    If Tierney keeps it up
If Jozo stays injury free and builds a partnership with Erik
If Lustig plays like he did today/Janko breaks through
If McGregor keeps playing sexy in cm
If Bitton /Johanssen find last seasons form
    If Armstrong plays like today
    If Rogic keeps it up
    If Roberts keeps it up
    If Griffiths keeps scoring...

Then we're going to have some team next year. And that's with Christie, Allan, Commons and Brown on the bench.

It's funny what a 7-0 win can do for your confidence :56:

Yeah, when it's there, Ronny can do it. Lost 8 League games in 2 seasons.
This was Ronnys team yesterday. Imagine he could keep developing these kids. People feel * for Ronny today, this is all many others and myself seen something. All brilliant yesterday.

Well, as always I love reading all you amazing nutters comments from before, during and after the game :56: Great fun, especially days like yesterday. I got a pelting for saying "Come trophy day, many will have a tear in their eyes because we respect Ronny.

Big deal, but I was right, there was always going to be tears for Ronny, I had to leave the room and watch last 10 minutes then all the trophy parading, alone, CRYING in my bed watching Ronny sucking up his tears, he doesn't want to leave, and after yesterday I could cry right now for Ronny. All in a great display, every player was 10/10. Now we guess where Ronny could have taken this squad with best players fit (Jozo Simunovic as an example was a HUGE loss for Ronny) and more experienced, Ronny has left us with the makings of a VERY good side. He made ego human, he gave youth a chance, he DID give us moments. We even have a song for him. He touched our hearts, and we touched his, and that is a Celtic bond for life.

#HH Hope you all had a brilliant weekend. Enjoy the rest because what is about to happen SHOULD give us years of Champions League money, players we lost before due to money now being able to keep or try harder with wages. TOP Players willing to come to experience an amazing new era for our club, if I am correct Brenden Rogers is the new manager and he is HUGE, like Ronny is on developing youth and plays a very pressing high tempo, fast ball to feet, direct or wing play football. Rogers can and does have Plan B, C and D and more. He is coming here for the love of the club, to create moments and sample what Ronny will be waking up to shortly that has gone for him, for now. I will say this now, football is a very strange game, when you expect we fail, when we fail we hurt, but when Celtic are good, we are GOOD!! One of the best fighting above our weight and beating Europe's best teams. But we go through almost 4 year spells of good then bad. The board should see this and understand a few pounds more spent today can make us a very decent Champions League side as we know we can be and have been on and off for about 125 years, this is our way, we come good, we regress. Now is the time to rise and stay there. The finances on offer with a few straight Champions League seasons in a row can give us the money needed to keep winning the league but also lure great players once again.

    WE ARE CELTIC :shamrock:

The exact moment Ronny needed support, all alone from Norway and blind to the hatred of Scottish Football..Certain people turned away and the most ugly side of Scottish Football was there for all who were looking and being shown it and if you listen to Ronny over the last month and certain after the Rangers defeat, he almost tells this story. Sadder still, people Ronny trusted stuck the knife in and kept twisting it. Football is a 'heat of the moment' and 'We need a back page story' game and many will take £2,500 to give a newspaper an extra £20,000 the following Sunday, we all know this. So things get said to sell an extra 50,000 papers some Sunday morning. Because we mocked them all the years of Sevco suffering (Media/Politics/SFA) was shoved on a plate for all who love Celtic to taste.. I have backed Ronny all season because of this story. His players heads were turned, in the end the fans (LIKE ME) were getting so annoyed at the players dropping tools. Ronny was 39 years old when he arrived. He leaves better, more determined, HUGE IN THE BAD SIDE OF FOOTBALL but primed, researched and ready to manage a HUGE club where the demands and ways of it's national sport are not influenced by other people outwith your own trust bubble

Probably the best football we have played all season yesterday. A few myths were put to bed yesterday as well in my opinion.

"Where would we be this season without Griffiths goals."

That has been said plenty times throughout the course of the season from both fans and the media. Although Griffiths is a big part of the team, and his goals have undoubtedly been important to us, we can cope and score goals without him.

"Armstrong is not a left winger."

Another phrase often used this season. Left wing wasn't a position that was alien to Armstrong when he signed for us. He had played there at times with Dundee Utd. He might well be better through the middle, but having him cutting in from the left, he showed he can still be a big threat.

I don't think many ever doubted Ronnie as a good man, a very decent man at that and I like most couldn't help liking the guy, I was a bit sad yesterday and the performance was a case of hat could have been but pragmatism had to be applied and we simply could not risk the calamities next season that we have endured in almost all the big games in the last 2 seasons.

As has been said, the players need to be taking a hard look at themselves and ask if they gave that man their all? I find it very unlikely they did!!!
