Attractive football my *, so far this season TMs passing game has been as boring as watching paint dry, and can everyone stop saying WGS garbage, these players have done it in the past, and our best peformers over the WGS era are the worst players now. TM needs to learn and learn fast this is Scot football, we play a hard and direct style and so do the other teams. Maybe if the team played a more upbeat style with some ergency the crowd might get involved.

Thanks for the point, thats quite lovely :50:
By all accounts we played well today, but you really should've had a bucketload, but thems the breaks. We got a bit more luck today than previously this season, so overall chuffed with a point.

Re the fans: it's my opinion that we are there of course to support the team but similarly, they are their to entertain us. The poor atmosphere can of course be down to the seating etc but, at the end of the day, the support will reflect what is happening on the park. And today it was garbage - pure and simple.

The SECOND Celtic actually bothered to get out of first gear (which wasn't often) the swell of noise coming from the support was huge. It's not as if we sit on our hands even when they are playing well.

Players should be wanting to earn those cheers from the crowd.

I recognise people say you should cheer the team regardless, but there are also times when they need to earn that sort of backing. :shamrock:

Has Brown got some kind of immunity from being dropped? Robson should be the first player on that team sheet every week when he's 100%, look at the passion he showed with the two consecutive tackles he made in the first half I think?.. then shouting and balling at the linesman... then gets subbed without moaning and trying to gee up Zheng. Talking about Zheng I woud like to see more of him he is so calm and controlled on the ball looks a good prospect.

can anyone justify maloneys, wages since his return and also browns, they guys are producing nothing in the team, shurely its plain to be seen, and a waste of time with coroners as i have said on Manny occasions, Celtic have had over 600 since Henrik left, and only scored about 15-25 from there heed is that no shocking and why do the one trick ponnys not go in to the box when corners are taken

Yeh, because everyone on the pitch was alive, although Brown looked a bit stiff.

We miss Naka at set pieces for me, have been tempted to start a thread on this for a while, we're not making corners and free kicks count.

Just watched the highlights, yet again we drop points due to not being able to put the ball in the net after creating plenty chances. Nothing more nothing less.

Dropping points at home to Motherwell can only be seen as two points wasted, two games ago we were threatening to go seven points clear of the Huns, now we're one behind the worst Rangers team in years.

We have to accept that TM's hands have been tied to a certain extend since he arrived, however unless he receives funds from Desmond and Lawwell in January to replace Caldwell, Mc Manus, Samaras and Mac Donald we'll struggle to overhaul the Huns.

The four listed above are no longer " Celtic Class ", we have defenders who can't defend basic situations, while our two main strikers are shot-shy. Let's face it Samaras is a poser, nothing more. Everytime he misses the hands go to his head, he looks to the bench to say he did his best, but in reality he is chicken, he's terrified of getting hurt, no use to us at all !!! :31: :47: :31:

omfg i just seen the celtic highlight on sportscene and i don't know why people r blaming TM because we had about 10+ half decent chances that could've been easy goals. TBH that was a really good performance from celtic but it was one of those days where the ball didnt go in the back of the net. I don't think that was any of tm fault at all, infact i would give him credit for that performance it was solid but unluckily the ball didn't go in.

Could not agree more if i tried, seriously it's * refreshing reading this!!

TM was not to blame, the players take most of that accolade imo...and another day it was a comfortable win.

It's going to come together imo and we will be deadly.. but there's so many variables like important players injured.. we need some decent form from now till january,if we get to this window intact then we will romp the league.

I hope you are right Marty and I think you are, problem is, he won't be given much time to win the fans over.
He has only won one of the big games, out of 7. He has to take some responsibility for his tactics.

i dont want to sounds dire, but i think some of the reason why people are questioning him is that his West Brom team last year played exactly the same, plenty of chances, was far from the worst team in the competition in terms of quality of football (Bolton, Portsmouth, Wigan, etc played alot worse) but for some reason the results dont come.

I'm an optimist craigy..i hope it comes together but i'm not nieve enough to think it will happen right away nor the fans allowing him time.

However the board will afford him this time so we just have to get behind him and look to the future.

IMO Those calling for WGS back ned to think outside the box, IMO WGS left because he knew the team was in decline and he did all he could with the resources available and he knew in his heart he should leave with the achievements he had created and lets be honest they where more than admirable.. BTM has soooo much building to do i think we must give him the time for i believe that when he gets the team he needs/wants we will be exactly as promised.

Sounds like the Dundee Utd home game we drew 0-0? aswell a few weeks ago. There's a problem but if we're dominating in matches like that and not putting the ball in the net, have we got enough goals in the team?

Can't wait to Fortune's back we scored 8 goals in the 2 games he played in the SPL and we've only scored 7 in the 6 games since. :(
