just back from the game, was pretty dire tbh.

Boruc - not much to do at all

Hinkel - good going forward and not really bothered in defence i thought

O'Dea - pretty solid compared to his last outing

Loovens - again dealt with things and never seemed in danger

Naylor - dont even get me started. the amount of times he wasted a ball was unreal

McGeady - pretty quiet tbh. but did make a good few runs

Zhi - bit of a howler tbh, when he was on the ball he was bullied off it instantly. hes just not strong enough.

Crosas - usual shift from him.

McGinn - imo the best player tonight, should start on a regular basis now.

Samaras - was all over the park as per, never stopped running.

Fortune - absolute howler, enough said.

I also lost alot of respect for morton fans tonight after they started there "paedo" *..no need for it at all.

also i heard a few shouts of abuse at Zhi

 

We need to get healthy and some serious time needs to be spent training to get service to the strikers. I think Samaras is good when he gets decent service. It also sucks when the big man is unselfish because Fortune is awful.

Happy with the result. Not going to complain too much.

 

Just back.....wow, that was terrible. Only players to get passmarks are Crosas,Sammy, ZZ and surprisingly Naylor was not as bad as usual.

 

ZZ was out muscled constantly. naylor was pish apart from the assist

but i agree that crosas and sammy were good.

passmarks for me are sammy, crosas and mcginn

 

this is going to be the norm for Celtic, just have not got the skill in the team, to win convincingly, as Morton had a few chances. we are second best in this tournament and i can see this cup slipping from our grasp if we don't get 2 strikers with ability. and forget Sammy pulling us out of a hole, on his * more times than upright, and will not anticipate a pass

 

Going by what everyone had said, McGinn definitely needs to start more. We have two winger positions - let our two wingers take them up. Simple.

 

What shouts were these? i heard none

 

ZZ had the most level head on the pitch,always calm underpressure and always made the right pass. Out muscled? Far from it.

Naylor set up the goal, rattled the post, whipped great balls into the box, linked up well with McGeady and overall looked good going forward. Defensivly didn't have much to do.

 

im positive they were singing "who shagged all the boys..."

 

Am about as far as you can get from his biggest fan, but Naylor was one of our better players tonight. The tackle he put in on the lad wake the only time morton wriggled through stopped a certain goal in my opinion. Plus a few decent crosses for a change (obviously a few shiters as well).

And i might be wrong with this one, but did he not belt the post with a crackin shot ???

Apart from that, only Crosas, Hinkel and O'Dea/Loovens with pass marks (mainly as defence didnt have much to do)

 

Going to watch the highlights, heard fortune was pish as per, time to cut our losses sell that * and save the rest of the seasons wages

 

Too be honest Morton fans was alright and was good banter between both set of fans , I would be more worried about the arseholes in our end that started fighting after the game hope these * got locked up for the night .

I never heard anything racist coming from the Home end but i did hear alot of our fans calling Fortune a few racist comments and also a few towards zz , Also Celtic fans was fighting with each other just around the corner from mc donalds , and also fighting with Morton fans total arseholes ,

 

i agree, they are arseholes. theres no need for it.

O'dea played fantastic tonight alot of key vital blocks he was also wearing the armband and deffo played like a club captain tonight great to see him getting back up there ,

 

It's easy to look good against teams like Morton.
