Johansen plays at full pelt for the 90, he's an athletic machine, great ball for the goal also.

He did help them out though, 2 certain goals we should have had.

 

Content with the performance and the result, at the moment we're through with a 0-0 draw at park head because of the away goal security.... I'm sure we'll be a lot better going forward at home too.

 

Got to be happy with a 1-1.

Might not be a popular decision right now, but I'd like Ambrose back next to Van Dijk.

 

Good result even though it could have been about 3-0. Johansen was brilliant and very unlucky to block that goal and not score for himself later on.

Izaguirre was pretty awful, terrible positioning and very sloppy.

Couldn't believe Ambrose giving it away near the end

 

Ver very very confident we will beat them easily at home.

 

We could have scored a couple but i'm happy with that!

 

We need a striker badly though, do we still have time to sign one before the next leg? When's the deadline?

 

Maribor will play the same way away from home so we should be well up for them. Nothing to be afraid of, just wish we had a striker.

A *, boring game, just like I asked for

Kayal or McGregor MOTM, Beram was almost back to his old self, though still not as energetic and fast as I remember from his 1st season.

Stokes, Izzy, Mulgrew were poor and Johansen was good overall but really should have scored.

Maribor were a lot worse than Legia as well, they didn't have anyone really threatening or skilfull.

 

Fantastic performance tonight from the bhoys, got to admit I was surprised about how well we played and how easy it seemed to us.

Should have won about 3 or 4-1 at least and we were very unlucky. No real complaints about any players except perhaps Izzy who seemed dodgy a lot throughout.

Great result though.

 

Okay result. We could have won it but I'm certainly happy we avoided defeat.

1-0 in Glasgow and a Pukki party officially starts.

 

If we had a proper striker we would have won that game comfortably.

 

Yeah I think this is spot on, he never stopped trying all night and created 1 or 2 chances for himself as well. Looked frustrating but can hold his head high.

 

Not sure about the 'easily' part as Maribor are no mugs, but I'm confident we will progress!

 

Should have been 3-1 we had 2 corners 1 cleared off the line the other hit Johanson.

excellent result, did nothing silly apart from Griffiths silly foul and ambrose giving ball away. thought centrebacks a little hesitant but all in all decent. agree with somebodies post earlier need a striker and leftback.

 

I had a * heart attack at the end when Ambrose gave it away, always on the edge of my seat when he has the ball. And not for good reasons.
