Too many players didn't turn up when they were needed. Stokes did nothing and his set play delivery was woeful but he was right to have a go at the two Norwegians at half time as they were useless. Unusual for Johanson to give the ball away as much as he did. Ambrose needs to go, his daydreaming and ballwatching days at Parkhead need to be made history. Mulgrew is awful and we can only hope someone might buy him. I think VVD will be sold now and I hope the money is used for some new blood as this squad needs dismantling. Was a bit unfair on Kayal to go off as he was one of the players who looked pretty busy and was closing down a lot. McGregor was the only highlight for me but too often he had no options to play the ball to.

 

Imagine if we had Virgil playing up front from the start, he was winning everything at the back on both sides of the pitch. * signing Scepovic, just play Virgil there, goal guarantee.

Well all the Board's penny pinching has really worked,we are now in the * and it could be 5 years before we get into the CL again

However in sensible reality we were knocked out 6-1 originally and even if we had gone through playing the utter * we did,we would have got massacred in the group stages.

 

So what can he do? he doesn't have a good team, we would be opened up with the same mistakes no matter what formation we play due to lack of quality players.

The fans in here needs a reality check. Ronny has been there a month. He is no magician. Celtic needs better players, simple as that. Even Mourinho or Ferguson hadn't made these players good enough in one month. Maybe Europa League is the best place for Celtic right now. To play Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen, Manchester City etc in the Champions league would have been emberrasing.
