boruc is probably one of the top5 keepers in britain. plus the last group stages games will be played in december, so it doesnt really matter for the cl if we are able to get some rockets in january...

lets face facts here, we played a team that cost hundreds of millions,1 player cost more than our whole team ( Ferdinand ) and Rooney cost more than him ffs!!! We done well tonight and but for a weak ref we would have got a draw....This Celtic team ,given a few more games together, looks good and, as * off as i am,i will sleep well tonight with these thoughts in ma heid.Goodnight ,* bless.

Overall - I cannot complain, Boruc made 2 great other saves. remember we were away from home , and TG etc had to a bit of defensive holding to attend to ( that showbiz) Im pretty chuffed that we really proved our own.. ... end of the day we did not get the beating as was portraid in the media... Come on the Celts... points away from home are bonuses

wait till we get ther lads playing a lot more games with maloney now back aswell .. ffsk it was gravesen , naylor , and vohs second game for 2nd or 3rd only game for us . * ... we need more time .. but boy we gave a show of it tonight regardless ... will give them huns food for thought anyway ... spl . we goona * all over that league imo .. its the CL we need to concentrate on .. next game copenhagen @ home a must 3 points .. man utd play benfica away so if man utd beat benfica and we win our next home game .. we will have 3 points benfica and copenhagen 1 point and man utd will be 6 points clear wich is what we want / expected .. copenhagen and benfica draw tonight was very good for us imo.. great infact.

Guys, we did ok. Some very poor individual mistakes but Man U weren't all that. Donlt be fooled into the 'we did well and got nothing thing' as thats the thoughts of losers. We are better than that and will hopefully turn them over at Celtic Park.

We need to ensure we win our very next game or we could be panicking a little.

we will dont worry !! also ive saw benfica and copehagen this season decent sides yeah .. but they dont have in thier locker what man utd have the way the broke etc...pressure passing .. deadly ..if we play like we can and did for spells tonighr we will beat both the other sides imo... . we will be able to impose much more on those other sides aswell our own game wich was difficult tonight... and man utd @ home we have 50-50 chance again aswell.. very open . 5 games to go....

szuwar i think youve got a bit of an unhealthy obsession with boruc
he is a good keeper but i think you need to calm down a little bit:47:

can i just say i'm absolutely gutted that it finished 3-2

I put my coupon on for 6 midweek draws on an accumulator and if celtic had drawn with man u I would have picked up the princely sum of £2211.84

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I am gutted , everyone was writing us off ,the truth is US true celts believed we would get something out of this . This dream was there for the taking but Giggs the cheating * had other ideas ...To Me this was the turning point of the game and not too long afterwards both Rooney and Saha tried to con the ref with dives as well ...Overall though whilst losing this will give us hope .....ps Lennon was immense tonight even giving McManus a telling off at one point ,this guy wants it badly !!

    5.5 for lennon ....fvckin clown

Boruc - 9 score would have been humiliating if it wasn't for him, conned by the red and i fear he will be suspended as he will pick another yellow for his time wating trricks in the future

    Wilson 6

    Caldwell 6

    Mcmanus 6

Naylor 7 - whipped ina good few balls into good areas, unlucky there was no one on the end of them

Lennon - 9 - absolutely immense nothin more i can say easily the best player on the park saha would maybe edge him

Nakamura- 7.5 retained possesion well and scored a quality free-kick

Gravesen 6 - done the simpe things well but his 2 mistakes,he will know and wll do his upmost to rectify it

    Jatrosik 6

McGeady- 2 - appaling! done absolutely nothing and he could be somebody as well, defintely worse than gravesen

VoH 8 made ferdinand look like a turnip

Telfer 3 you better be sucking boruc's boaby

Miller 5 game was over for us when he game on,still put in a shift

    Maloney 6

All things considered, I'm fairly optomistic for the rest of the CL campaign.
United are the strongest team in the group, and Rooney, Scholes and a few others will get better over the next few games, I'd be surprised if any team takes points off them at Old Trafford.
Our defence especially Caldwell and Telfer are not good enough or decisive enough yet, our midfield never got going tonight, and again they will get better.
Boruc and V of H will win us points in the SPL and CL this season, both were great tonight, and the sight of Maloney back is another positive.
Miller did well, so, i don't think we should be too worried, we didn't play well but still scored twice away from home against the best team in the group.
Hopefully Balde will be back soon in Caldwell's place, I know it's early in his Celtic career, but he has looked vunerable in the SPL never mind the CL.
Perhaps by the time we play Man U at CP, they will have already qualified and will play a weaker team. From the highlights, neither Benfica or Copenhagen looked that great.
