Attacking wise we were good but we need to be more clinical.

Defensively a mess. I think without CCV as an anchor both centre backs are poor.

Just as well we were not playing a good team as they would have really exploited our defensive frailties.

I've a sneaky feeling that this won't be a particularly popular opinion...... But I actually quite like listening to Martindale talking about football, I think he's very honest and suspect that he's actually a pretty good manager. I know people (including me) picked up on his "Tav does what Tav does" quote, and as far as I know he was a rangers fan growing up (?). For the record, I * hate Huns. But despite the fact that I probably shouldn't like this guy, I always find myself agreeing with most of what he says and thinking he's spoken well ?!? His strong accent and oft times rough appearance don't always do him favours, but I think he's a passionate and studious football man.

I think Brendan has time for him and I seem to remember Ange speaking highly of him also ?

There you go, I've said it lol.........tin hat on.

Great to win but, by *, that was a hard watch. Our defence was shockingly bad today and our midfield was practically missing. Only good points for me were Khuns performance, Maeda"s hat trick and that we are in the draw.

    I agree with you.

To be fair to him I think his life’s turnaround is remarkable. Even though he is a wee hun.

    Glad it's over. Positives

    - goal for Kyogo's confidence
    - Kuhn looks like he could be excellent with a run
    - hopefully a purple patch for Daizen

I thought we played well going forward.

Our defence it awful. We don't have to defend much, but when we do it usually ends up with a goal or a clear cut chance.

There can't be a team that concedes more goals from the ratio of shots at our goal.

Well, Celtic didn't disappoint. I must meet Maeda to thank him properly - 3 goals for my 33rd birthday. And one from Kyogo as well- I so want him to find his old form. Hail Japan!

    Good goals.

    We gifted theirs.

Same story as it has been all year. They score with pretty much their only shots on target.

We just weren't as wasteful as we usually are.

Has Maeda played narrower than usual? It is exceptional to see him a) get into this many chances and b) score 3. Rodgers might want to save notes of what he instructed the team to do in attack. But burn the defensive preparation. And scatter the ashes.

Thought we were decent and should have scored a few more. As others have said, we need to be more clinical and make other teams work harder for their goals, without CCV you really do fear the worst whenever teams get near our goal. Proper canny keep weans out a close stuff.
Congrats to Maeda and thought Kuhn played well.

Yeah maeda and Kuhn were class. Defence was poor but just noticed Iwata getting onto a lot of stray balls when welsh or scales would’ve made a challenge or lost out on one he’d pick up the loose ball. Did * al on the ball but thought he tidied well. We need to sort the defence though * poor

The thing about football is that you end up having all your best players at all the wrong times (Henrik exempt).....although Forrest deserves it simply for the years service he has put in. You must consider this.....I would absolutely love Paul McStay and Peter Grant in my midfield right now to sort this * out.......and I'd bet my house on it that we'd win the league.

If all the passion of men like McStay and Peter Grant (who didnt win many trophies for all their efforts) could be transferred into this team the now. Then it'd take us over the line nae hassle. Roy Aitken feed the Bear also

Agreed, he's a sticky bun but he's not a bitter, hate filled one like so many of them. Most would fall into a life of delinquency and dependency with his form but the guy deserves a pat on the back and some respect for turning his life around.

The midfield 3 were brutal today. Not one of them got pass marks.
