    Juventus have a huge fanbase in North America due to all the Italian-Americans. They have won 2 European Cups and have won the most League titles in Italy. Huge club

    Are you kidding? Have you seen the figures for the Dutch in terms of their English?

    I doubt you would find a lot of Juventus supporters in places like America and Canada to be honest, and these are the places that really matter.

    Arsenal, meh. Not done anything significant since 2004, I bet even the gloryhunters that caught on to them when they were successful have given up by now and moved on to Chelsea and Man City.

    Nottingham Forest are not a big club.

    Aston Villa are moderately successful, but not 'big'.

    :smiley-laughing002: its more the fact that we would stick out like a sore thumb as "the Celtic football club" with teams like excelsior, feyenoord etc. thats the main reason i find the EPL more interesting than, say, the bundesliga. i find english people more relatable simply because they speak the same language as me.

    Maybe not in terms of support but any team that has won a European cup or in Forest's case 2 should be considered big clubs.

    @OP

    I don't think you can compare clubs as they operate in different playing environments. Have a nice day.:celt_2:

    Why do they "support" those teams though?

    How many Asian Burnley, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Fulham, Bolton, West Brom, Sunderland and Blackburn fans are there? could probably count them in one hand. When you hand pick a rich team with quality players then its a fake support. It cant be anything but false, so Xao Ching Tao what drew you to support the most successful team in England? :smiley-laughing002:

    Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I consider Forrest a big club. Winning the European Cup more than once makes them part of an elite group in my eyes.

    Never read so much bollocks in my life, totally underestimating Celtic on here. Arsenal? don't make me laugh. Wouldn't give Liverpool the time of day anymore either after reading their forums recently.

    Too many youngsters on here not been around long enough, blinded by the EPL and its money, don't even start with Chelsea, Man city, Spurs, no where near us. Filling out stadiums in Asia, America just a joke, all EPL marketing, imagine them in the SPFL, wouldn't last a minute against us or the old Rangers.

    Need to brush up on our history bhoys, very few can touch us as an institution. Who do they all ask down for friendlies to fill their stadiums...Celtic!

    EPL love on here is embarrassing. One club for me, Celtic no one else matters.

    Scottish club representing Holland in European competition. That is a * ridiculous idea. We are a Scottish club and we shall remain in Scotland.

    well, i once read an article on espn recommending what team to support (all teams recommended were from the EPL, surprise surprise) and the article said that you could "be a die hard" and support norwich! i have never laughed/cringed so much in my life.
