    100% :50:

That just looks disgusting. Why any fan would feel the need to do that is beyond me. :31:

Had a brilliant weekend in Dublin for this. As usual we provided the bulk of the atmosphere at the match and before it, with Murrays on O'Connell St. in particular being full of Celtic fans and singing. Didn't realise there were so many Liverpool fans there for the game until we got nearer the stadium. Mingled really well with us from what I experienced and a few where at the rebel days/nights before and after the match. Fairly disappointed with the lack of any noise from the Liverpool fans in the match itself though, considering they had around two thirds of the stadium. A cracking sing song, a few really good performances from fringe players and a win at the end of the match was more than we could have hoped for going into it. Superb weekend all round :50:

I really enjoyed this friendly. There was a wee bit extra to it than normal. Scottish team vs English team. Two popular sides in Ireland, sadly us second on that stat.

I've lost touch with English football. Not sure how strong (in terms of their squad) that Liverpool team was.. But to see so many young Celtic players play so well was great, friendly or not.

Big Steve and Big Amido looked good as well. i won't get too excited over Steve and the potential of Dijk just yet. We have a bad history of CBs.

Really wish i made it to this game. I've not been home (Ireland) for a while now.

I've seen similar before - when we played Liverpool in 2003 a fella came into our (Celtic) bar wearing a shirt that had been stitched together from half a Celtic and half a Liverpool jersey.

It's cringeworthy - you should just pick one or the other.

They won't field a much stronger team all season than what started on Saturday. I would say one big change would be Agger for Wisdom. Every other player will probably play regularly all season if fit.

Great! Makes it even better then. Great for the young bhoys. And for Liverpool getting to play a CL side. :)

There are of course plenty of Sevco fans in the north and there is a Dublin Loyal SSC that includes some local supporters from what I can tell, although they are predominantly northern loyalists or Scottish Sevco fans working in Dublin.

Brilliant couple of days in Dublin and plenty of the good old Republican songs being sung all over the place:celt_2: The Irish Liverpool fans were silent the whole time.

Nah mate we booked flights before it was officially announced so got it at a decent price and didn't have to take the bus/boat. A few ones who get on our home game bus sometimes did though. Four hour wait after being rejected for their own safety because of the bus loads of Orangemen.
