We’re going to lose this in the most heartbreaking way as usual, ref is giving us * all and we’re making stupid mistakes at the back.

 

Big Nat and CCV could be a proper decent centre back pairing.

Scales could well find himself stuck in at left back the way he's playing. Slack pass now and again but he has covered that left back space well when needed.

 

Taylor and Yang down the left are giving them all the time and space in the world. Need Palma on as Yang for all he has technical ability his decision making is poor and looks overawed by the occasion.

Would be genuinely tempted to throw CCV on for Taylor and shift Scales out left but that Philips yellow card might force BR to take him off.

 

They are not handling O'Riley as well as I thought they could (Vecino matches him in physicality on paper). Sadly, Vecino mattered at the other end. We must stop trying to play out of defense under pressure. Our mistakes encouraged Lazio and gave them the fateful set piece.

 

Celtic have been excellent... frustrating they got the equaliser.

 

Need to just believe in ourselves ffs, this team is there for the taking, more direct passing needed.

I feel like we've invited them back in to it. Some good play but then we started playing about the back and going back way too often for my liking..

Need to be a bit braver playing through them as we've done a few times..

Players no on the same wavelength but decent signs..

Hopefully we can get an early second and use the bench well..

Playing some decent stuff. Great to see the wee man get his CL goal too.

Taylor needs to tighten up though and wish we had held onto Jota or replaced him properly.

 

I think we're doing fine, just need to be better with the final pass

 

I honestly feel it is one of the worst windows I've seen. Not impressed by a single signing. We signed 3 good players from Asia so seem hooked on the market like Mick to methadone.

 

It’s definitely decision making that is the issue.

Yang had a couple of sublime phases of play in that half early on. Seems to be if it doesn’t go his way his confidence fade quickly.

That left flank is so poor going forward. If Jota was still here, we'd have at least another goal.

 

Think taylor will eventually be caught out with the ball over the top ,hes just not covering it.
