    If we are talking about starting the likes of Rogic, Ntcham, Griff, Bayo, Bauer and Taylor I don't think we will have much trouble at home with a thistle team in turmoil. It's the ideal match to give a bunch of players some much needed game time.

    That being said I don't think we should be taking the cups lightly this year, especially the first one. If we lose the first one, and that lot go on to lift it, it adds pressure on to Lenny from the media, and the fans that weren't happy with his appointment, and gives them confidence. If we are sacrificing a cup this season it'd be the Scottish cup for me. Normally I'd rather have the Scottish cup, but psychologically I feel the league cup is more important this year.

    I wouldn’t concede anything this season ...
    Another treble is ours to win (or lose..)

    I agree winning the league cup is important as the first trophy of the season. Keeping another treble on track and them not winning it will avoid the media bollocks we’d have to listen to for months.

    It will be down to us though.. as I can’t see Killie or Aberdeen doing us any favours.
