Guys like Rogic, Forrest, Toure, Dembele, Simunovic, Tierney etc weren't training outside and were in the gym instead.

Everyone is available for tomorrow more or less.

I have a wee suspicion that Brendan prefers Simunovic to Erik at CB and we might see Jozo start again.

De Vries will definitely be back in as well imo.

Hope to see Bitton back in CM hopefully him not being involved the last two games has given him a boot up the * and he gets his act together because I don't think many doubt that he is a quality player when he's on it, needs to cut out the silly fouls in dangerous positions on the pitch though. The thought of Armstrong or McGregor starting CM over Bitton against Man City is terrifying.

3-0 Celtic. Dembele, Toure, and Sinclair. If Griff does make an appearance it'll be 4.

I'd rest Brown, Tierney and Sinclair.

Cant get my head around folk wanting to rest players, the league is our bread and butter. our players are athletes they can manage a string of games without resting up.

Because modern football takes a lot out of you and three fresher players v Man City could make a difference for us. I think that some key players will be subbed off if we're winning the game in the second half.

When the games put to bed yes by all means get them subbed, but having them fresh will only be the difference between getting beat 4-0 or 5-0 against city if we are being honest. (Hope im wrong).

Uffff, I think we will lose by 2 or 3 goals to City but if we are going to start taking 5-0 tankings at CP, we might as well not even bother with the CL. * that. I want everyone fit for that game, pride is important.

No 'resting' players for me... We aren't that kind of side who can afford to.

They are pros and should be able to play 2/3 games in succession. Maybe take critical players off 2nd half if in strong position.

Teams like Kilmarnock always try to rise in standard when the play us, no slip ups needed.

Play the best team fit and pump them!

Of course pride is important, but not at the expense of league points. Can you imagine the uproar if we dropped points today due to resting players for city and then got beat 3-0 anyway?

Folk on here wanted the fringe players playing against alloa the other night, we had almost a full strength team and couldnt break them down until 83rd minute, we may well have been out a cup if we had rested players as some people wanted.

We can afford to rest players more than most clubs.
