    Quite simply I don't agree.

He misses an awful lot of sitters, yes he converts some too - but misses far too many pure sitters to be considered in the high esteem many fans hold him in.

He's decent enough, but has an awful lot of improving to do before I'd consider him "undroppable".

    Stokes is simply better.

I agree, there is always room for everyone to improve. While I think that Stokes is a great player and brings a lot to the team, I haven't seen him score enough goals from open play to trust him up front by himself. In fact I think that I've seen Stokes miss far more sitters than hooper this season.

Stokes hasn't been played as an outright poacher in a lot of games, he's been pushed out to the wing alot of the time, unlike Hooper who has been our poacher!

what?? hooper is way better than stokes. he converts quality chances and he always gets in the position to have such a brilliant opportunity to score. so what if he dosent score every time, we would never win the league without him. stokes is nowhere near as good and is very much droppable.

Haven't seen any confirmation of a safety team inspection..

The talk was that it's going to be cold and there's expected to be plenty fog..

no chance! hes scored 11 in 13

and has scored vital goals this season.

he gained us 4 extra points with last minute goals against united and st mirren and also scored against the huns although we went on to lose..stokes should have been sent off after 2 minutes. i do like stokes but he has a lot to do to prove more important than hooper!

It would be great if we could go top for Xmas, give us the psychological advantage. And their game in hand is against Dundee United at Tannadice :56:

I think this game would be a good chance to have a look at Connor Sammon as a possible January recruit. Samaras expected to go and I have been so impressed by the lad. Saying that, points before signings and I fancy 3-1 Celtic. Lennon was going to hand Richie Towell his first start in the postponed game at Pittodrie... since then there has been no games and Kayal and Brown are back, you have to feel sorry for the lad!
