In my opinion this line up has a great balance of creativity (Ki, Forrest, McCourt), aggression/dig (Brown, Kayal), and it can evolve into attack or defense very easily without having to make subs.

If the Asian games affect this game, then swap Ki for Ledley.

taking the weather into account, and it being midweek.

the caley game in the cup was only an attendance of 20k.

    so i'd say about that.

If you have a season ticket it isn't going to cost you over £10 to go this game (if you live within a reasonable distance of the stadium

I think the game will be on.The pitch will be perfect with the under soil heating on. It's just a question of removing the snow around the ground.A team of workers with shovels should be able to do that alright.

Will be there but I'm expecting one of the poorest atmospheres in recent seasons.
Can't see many people making the effort to come through considering the weather.
Hope the team is up for it though, they'll need to be considering how well Killie have been playing.

The pitch should be ok, it may be more about the safety of fans travelling to the game.

    Faithful Through and Through

Presuming the game won't be postponed I want to see a decent turnout. I know that it's midweek, xmas, cold and we've dropped 4 points from winning positions in the last two home games... but this is when our team and our club need us the most.

I'm sure we all know how easy it is to be a faithful supporter through the good times. I also know that it's not easy through the bad times and Tuesday's game isn't big and it's expected to be 30-40k, but that's what gets to me. The ICT game 3 weeks ago was scarcely atteneded and it was disappointing, both result and attendance.

My point is this - The true measure of our support is not through the good times, when the champagne is flowing but it is at times like this our team really needs us. I'm not saying bad performances should be rewarded by packed stadiums but we shouldn't pack the stadium because we're playing well and winning, we should pack the stadium every week because we SUPPORT this wonderful club from the cradle to the grave. Win, lose or draw. If you're not happy with the team, the manager or the club go to games and make your feelings heard don't stay away, it only has a negative effect on the everyone involved, especially the fans who consistently go and sit in a half empty stadium - it's demoralising.

In Martin O'Neill's era the stadium was packed every week because we one of the best teams in europe and our support was and is renouned as one of the best in the world. But to be frank our reputation is declining and this is due to the standard on the park. But, when our team is struggling that is when the stadium NEEDS to reasonalby full, not packed (in a mid-week winter game) as I keep saying but for a club of this stature and supporters of our standing it should always be 45k +.

With a busy fixture period coming up the team needs our backing. So get to the stadium on Tuesday night, regardless of the weather, and back the team we love because that's what faithful supporters do.

    Hail Hail

    Keep the Faith :shamrock:

Would go, but yet again money is the issue. I could have took my wee cousin for £20 (including bus) but it costs me about £40 and food which i simply can't afford. Celtic missed a trick. Adults 15 kids 10 and you would have had a higher attendance not to mention merchandise would get sold.

I'm going 3 1 celtic. Expect killie to score a goal at least as they are playing good football and with our defence, it will get breached. Respect for the lads that are going:50: as i am geniunely disappointed i cant go:54:

Ma mate sent me his season ticket , as he can`t make it due to work. Meeting a few friends who are kilmarnock fans after the game, so will be looking for a good scoreline to drum home the rest of the night.

Assuming it's on I would go with

    ---------------Forster
    Cha Majstorovic Rogne Emilio
    --------------Ki Kayal
    -----Forrest Stokes McCourt
    ---------------Hooper

If this Asian cup has come into effect, swap in Wilson and Ledley.

hail hail mate, the team needs backing. what's making me miserable is seeing a half empty stadium. most of my first memories are O'Neills side. Gutted to see empty seats at all!!

without trying to sound bad, I think fans who only turn up when your doing well can f*ck off imo, you either SUPPORT or don't.

we should be backing the squad to the max and giving them an atmosphere to play for, that's if the stadium rules of sitting full game allow it lol
