crap crap crap , imo its the midfield the are creating nothing for the guys up front , tbh this is the same rubbish i have been seeing from celtic for the past couple of seasons , folk can say we have won this and that but the football has been crap most of the time , 210 minutess without a goal and we dont look like scoring one either ... any team who packs the midfield against us and closes us down higher up the pitch basically leaves our players * we end up playing longball football theres no creativity from us its a ball out to mcgeady all the time in a hope of a bit of skill from him there is nothing else we have stacks of midfielders but the cant do the job week in week out we get a performace of a player one week and the next hes an empty jersey. Sumthing is wrong somehwere .

We quite often give the impression of looking 'flat'. I would like to see us play the game at a higher tempo than we do just now. If we did I think we could cut teams to ribbons with the players we have. HAIL HAIL

Yes I agree these type of results happen and you have to take it on the chin, but we have been poor for a long time and need to get the players together and remind them what it is like to play for Celtic, the expectations and standards are a lot higher.
What concerns me most is two games no goals and only one goal attempt against a team bottom of the league and with 8 straight defeats.
Yes we will bounce back against the scum in a fortnight I am sure of that but lets address the current problems and sort them out.

    Good post Henke:50:

I 100% agree with the attack, attack, attack thing where fans will always be against the manager no matter what he does. I try not to read those posts anymore.

There are good posters however who explain why and where he or the players went right/wrong, in their opinion of course which is what I enjoy reading most perhaps.

My mate Johnny probably summed up the current side best when he said ''watching Celtic these days is 75 minutes of * with 15 mins of inspiration''. The overall standard of our play IMO is pretty poor, and i would say the same of our first team squad. Now before anyone kicks off, i do not hate GS, nor am i ''not a real fan'', i am simply frustrated over certain things, mainly GS refusal to try anything different RE tactics, set pieces, some of his signings, but mainly the fact that certain players play week in week out regardless of form. This only weakens our chances of 4IAR and also sends out a bad message to others players at the club(what Hutchinson must think every time Sheridan lopes on to the field, Mizuno has been dropped like a stone too). Practically all fans that i know feel similar to this, some have supported the team since the 40's, are they to be called ''not real fans''? The ever decreasing amount of fans at Parkhead should tell you how a large portion of us feel about the standard of football on display.

Excellent post John Bhoy - the team is so predictable and boring. I really believe that WGS has no answers now. To say that a midweek match affected them is a joke -these guys are highly paid, and are supposed to professional athletes! It's hardly championship winning form at the moment and unless there are some sort of dramatic signings, we are in deep trouble. We are giving the title away. I can't actually remember the last time the team played well - gone is the "Celtic style".

I'm just waiting for more New Labour spin from the Board, and the Chief Executive. Once more the fans are being shafted.

That had bore draw all over it :rolleyes:Butcher was always going to get them fired up, but still we should have taken the game to them, they are utter *, disgraceful performance.
    Samaras just doesn't seem interested.
Where is the drive, the passion? Cant see it myself :31:

Why did Samaras try and square it instead of shooting ? That was the chance to win it ffs.

He's just gotten us into the League Cup final and we're top of the SPL. We can't expect to win every game. Strachan is an experienced and successful manager. He'll be doing everything he can to get the team back into good form.

They are professional athletes. Games do take a lot out of the body. We're top of the SPL so how are we giving the league away?

The last time the team played well? Against Dundee Utd midweek and before that against Hibs at Parkhead the match before.

What do you think they'll say?

If you think our display against Dundee Utd was a good football performance then i pity you brother, i really do. Try watching Man Utd or Barcelona to see what quality football looks like.
