I musta watched a different game, I thought aiden was our best player and the only one trying to make things happen.

 

Maloney played alot of games until the 4-4 game against Chelsea on boxing day last year.After that the majority of apperances were substitutions,he was given a chance but he couldn't hack it

 

i dont know wots happened. wen we won 12 games in a row, we averaged 3 goals a game and now we cant even score against the bottom side. was maloney playing in those games cos we have really missed him. he adds summin that mcgeady and naka dnt

 

If we lose to Rangers - Strachan should go.

Yup, its another get rid of Strachan thread. Iv never wanted to do this, but its time for him to go. The guy simply doesnt have a clue. Take today for example. Dropping Crosas was stupid, when he clearly brings something to the team. Bringing Sheridan on for Mcdonald was even worse. And why the * is Ben Hutchinson still not playing? I no hes injured, but the boy is yet to start for us and its disgraceful. Furthermore, Strachan was considering sending O'dea on loan. The boy has never let us down, and there is no reason to get rid of him.

I dont care how many titles Strachan has won us. The SPL is a joke league and beating teams like Inverness should be a walk in the park. Rangers are dreafull, and thats what makes winning the SPL easy. You people act as if we arnt expected to win the league, but we are. Our team is alot better than the Rangers team, yet we are only 2 points ahead.

When was the last time we played well? First 20 minutes of the Hibs game? We have looked awful for the last couple of months, and the only reason we are top is because Rangers are even worse.

Europe this year was a joke. We gained 1 point from 6 against a pub side. I never expected us to finish 2nd, but 3rd was almost a guarantee IMO.

If Rangers beat us next week, its time for Strachan to leave. The guy has passed it and i have simply had enough of these awful performances.

Football doesnt work that way. Dundee United reached a standard not far behind the OF and they had no money. Money only buys advantage is it is enough to compete with leagues who hoover up the best players. Otherwise we are still priced out. I think the difference between a player like Flood or Robson who cost peanuts and a 2 or 3 million quid player like Donati of Jarosik is nil. Money is often only an advantage when you start spending 6 million+ on players. The amount of good players we missed out on because we cant pay that (plus the 6 million on wages for 3 years) is major but that is the reality we face.

 

but at the end of the day its stil the same team apart from foran, and we should have beaten them new manager or not. we are top of the leauge barely, so therefore we should be showing more hunger an desire to stay there more than a bottom leauge team trying to impress a new manager. do u agree?

 

We can't get rid of Strachan yet, we should stick with him till the end of the season.

However, we do need a new manager at the end of the season. Celtic need a freshen up which a new manager would bring.

 

In my opinion Maloney had been very average until he was injured,he did have a couple of good games but he wasn't that much of an influence that we would need him back desperately,I just think our luck has run out.
