Haven't got to see the highlights... was the penalty shout, a penalty? The one where Griffiths (I think) missed the 1 v 1

It is the Ronny Rollercoaster and we are in for some ride.

Going back to what you were saying about Gordon, it was good to hear that kind of support. The best example of this kind of backing was the game after our loss in the League Cup final at Ibrox(of all places)...the support for Paul McStay at Easter road that midweek was one of my proudest moments as a Celtic fan. We held a sign saying YNWA Paul McStay and supported him and the team through one of our worst moments in our history. That's what it means to be a Celtic fan and the Meastro lifted the Scottish Cup later that season due to us all sticking together.

Ronny and the Celtic support can achieve the unexpected.

Not this season, but I'm actually starting to dream of EL glory in the coming years. I wasn't in Seville, if it happens again...

Btw, slightly unrelated, but I'd buy that top we had on last night, with the blank back.

    I think it's much nicer.

I noticed that the showed replays on the big screen at the game on Thursday. I thought they didn't show replays incase the ref and players see a mistake (I think it happened to Mexico in 2010 world cup?) I don't remember them showing replays in the group stage although I might be remembering wrong, does anyone know?

Yeah they stopped showing replays on big screens after that in the world cup. Mexican players could see tevez was offside from the replay and wanted the goal chalked off.

Few on the Inter forum were raging Palacio got a start. Then the * gets two goals gifted to him.

Also was a comment about the first 20 minutes being their best of the season.

Now i have not been to CP, but most football fans knows about the atmosphere on celtic games, and especially on european nights, but what i have been to on european nights are liverpool, real madrid and lyon and as a liverpool fan i might be disqualified to speak on the matter but nonetheless i have to say that standing in the kop while beating the crap out of Inter was absoloutely amazing, even more so than when beating rivals in the BPL. i refuse to believe that Liverpool and anfield has lost this atmosphere.

but then again compared to norwgian football which has an average attendance of something like 12.000 people and my team(Brann) who got fkin relegated (!!!) this year, then just lost in preseason to shamrock rovers(* me right)..................... holds the record of 18.000 average attendance and i have to say that 18-20k people from your town supporting a little * club, watching * football is something special, compared to maybe a 25% of the stadium is local and rest football tourists.(not that celtic is a * club or plays * football, but u catch my drift)

Anyways, dual watched the game together with liverpool-besiktas, and it was a lot more interesting and exciting then my 'highlight' of the week, fair play too celtic, i hope you beat inter and meet warzawa for a rematch!

Mate, was that game not like 7 year ago? Alot changes in that time and Anfield has most definitely lost its sparkle, the crowd were very timid in the Champions League this year, very disappointing from times gone by.

Don't understand any of that. However the 25% statement probably applies to Liverpool - I imagine they get lots of tourists, maybe not as many as the London clubs or Manchester clubs but still so.

I'm sorry, im at work and the phrasing could have been better.

some english clubs probably sells more tickets to foreign fans than they do to local fans, i do not know if this is the case in liverpool and to be honest i doubt that it is the case, but as u said it might apply to london teams.

that compared to 60.000 truly devoted locals is something really different.

and yes, the match was like 7 years ago, but i watched liverpool-tottenham in march 2014 also, when we were on the verge of winning the title and i have never experienced such an atmosphere in pubs, town and stadium! therefore i doubted that the atmosphere was gone, but for a club of liverpools history not winning the BPL then being on the verge of doing so could possibly amplify the atmosphere a bit!

anyways, great match and i truly hope you beat inter as we all love the underdogs!

I understand last season Anfield was brilliant but I've never found it that much to write home about, even in the 80s, many. I would put above them.

Their Euro nights are better than the rest from what I can see, one guy was telling me that's helped by the fact they correctly skip health and safety bollocks and allow big flags and stuff in the Kop unlike anyone else.

By coincidence an English guy was telling me on the train after Thursday at Brigdeton that Anfield on Euro night is very tame compared with what he saw on Thursday

I was at Man City in CL this season, awful atmosphere and subdued goes nowhere near how bad it was.
