Just in from the game & got to say that had everything you expect from a European night

 

I don't know if I said it but I definitely thought it.

 

1st goal - Gordon should've let it go or pushed it out for a corner.

2nd goal - think it was Izzy scuffed the clearance, but for it to then ricochet off Van Dijk into a perfect through ball for Palacio, who proceeds to put it through Gordon's legs. C'mon.

3rd goal - Bad read by Gordon, but it was the wet pitch that fooled him on the bounce, and surely factored in slipping from his grasp. He prob should've punched wide given the conditions.

Poor execution components of every goal. You get punished once- ok. But three times- pretty low probability. That's the part I see as unlucky.

 

Watching their 3rd goal again there, big Craig shat himself that first half. Glad he came out swinging in the 2nd. His first full house and the biggest game of his career make sure it doesn't happen again big yin!

 

You do realise this forum has an "ignore" function? Instead of bickering and spoiling a good night for both sets of fans, why not just put the posters that are annoying you on ignore?

It's not unlucky. The top sides always punish you for these mistakes. Whatever the BT pundits think, Inter are still a top side.

When that 3rd goal went in, i loved how the entire crowd sang "Theres only one craig gordon!" to pick him up. Well done!

I don't think we'll qualify, but I am very encouraged and proud of what I saw tonight.

2-0 down in 10 minutes and it was looking like the same old Celtic. But no, we fought back (twice), played some great football and showed enough to suggest we could and probably should have beaten them tonight. The progress is clearly evident. Granted it isn't a great Inter side but we showed massive balls to play how we did tonight.
