Agreed, him and Brown bossed that midfield.

So happy and proud to see all the work that deila and the team have done this season is really paying off.

We just went up against one of europes best teams and olayed them off the park.
The tempo from kick off was brilliant.

We got Hit with two quick goals from our own mistakes, ill accept that, knowing that we bounced back brilliantly, kept the energy going the full 90minutes and outplayed them.

At no point did we get pinned back and felt like we were hanging in there - Like we used to against bigger teams.
In fact, for a lot of the game we had them fearing the worst.

Credit to deila as well with regards to our energy and fitness. Around the 75th minute you saw the time wasting start from them, and half their team go for water. We looked on at them as if they were the minnows.

Absolutely proud of that performance from the team.
Mistakes were made, but we still stand tall in this tie with everything to play for.
Could go out the tournament next week, but weve shown we are going in the right direction here.

Great to see guidetti back on fire.

I agree, the wages in the EPL make it impossible for the SPL to compete. Back in the day, Larsson stayed at Celtic because he would only earn equal money in England and he was A.D.O.R.E.D. at Celtic. Celtic fans might want to think otherwise, but realistically he was on £40K a week at Celtic when the likes of Keane were earning £40K or £50K at United. Of course, he stayed at Celtic for the affection he found there, but lets be honest if it had been £40K at Celtic or £200K at United or City, he likely wouldn't have hung around so long. That's no disrespect to Celtic or Larsson. Its a fact. I would do anything to play for my club, Inter, but if I was a great player and another club (not Juve or Milan eh) offered me five times as much of course I would go, in all honesty so would any of us. At the end of the day, Inter and Celtic matter hugely but I would worry if any of ye said Celtic counted more than your family.

Also, its * talk from McManaman to say Celtic are equal to 10th in Serie A. With the greatest respect I don't see a single side other than Celtic that could possibly hope to survive a full Serie A season. Its one thing to get a good result, like tonight, against a Serie A team, its another to go the full season against teams like JuBe, BBilan, Roma, Inter, Lazio, Fiorentina, Napoli etc. You can dress Aberdeen and Dundee United up all you like but they are equivalent to Bohemians or Llansantffraid (not saying Celtic are, read above for what I think about Celtic).

Football in the modern era is *. In the past big Italian, English, Spanish and German teams used to be terrified of going to places like Celtic, Ajax, Porto etc... now we're * angry if we only get a draw... and with that even we're (Italians) getting left behind... in my opinion, modern football is * and sooner or later, because interest will wain with this modern *, we'll return to the olden days... I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.

He's been class. But made 2 mistakes tonight, first goal was going wide before he tried to save it, and obviously the spill.

Aye, not just attacking football, good attacking football. Tones of variety, skill, flair and linking up - was minted.

Absolutely fantastic from the bhoys, best attacking and passing performance from a Scottish team in years, poor at the back but alot of that came from our fullbacks being caught up the pitch as opposed to inter playing through us. GMS and Armstong had fantastic debuts, Matthews was excellent as was bitton. Were on the right track under ronny thats for sure.

    Youl never walk alone.
Inter are 500 million in debt and can still spend 25 million on a player.

Thats what we are up against bhoys, thats the difference, and we were still the better side.

Spurs spend £millions to draw with a team with 6points more than inter in series A and the Celts are getting stick .I think the english are jealous that they have nothing that comes close to the atmosphere and passion at celtic.fantastic match

Bringing Hendo and John on was a light bulb moment for Deila.

It was great to see Inter was put under pressure in the 2nd half.

At first bhoys didn't believe themselves and it resulted in mistakes defensively but in the end bhoys regained confidence and played admirably.

Especially I liked Biton, he was the dominator in midfield.
