Just watched the highlights of the Huns game yesterday...dunno how Ross county survived the onslaught TBF ...some were saying they were honking ..apart from their defense they look decent going forward.

Analysis on sportscene regarding Bitton sending off so bias...never even questions the foul on Taylor.

The thing the orcs have had over us since Rodgers left is that they have absolutely dominated our midfield.

I don’t see that changing unfortunately with the options we have. Will need absolutely heroic games from Hatate and O’Riley.

This games going to be agony to watch. Complete nail biter.

Good call am thinking along the same lines after all he has played in Epl for years the experience will serve him well in games like this

I was happy with him signing and thought he would be a first team regular. It hasn't worked out but he must be thinking to himself after all the signings- if I don't do it now I never will. He has tons of Premier League experience and played in Euro 2016 for Ireland. Injuries have taken a bad toll on him. One last hurrah maybe?

Our midfield and the way we went forward last year....was so slow, on and off the ball. Can think of a few game's where we dominated the Huns for large spells but were pretty wasteful/toothless..

We have more flair and pace now, even without some big hitters middle to front..

Think the crowd will play a significant part in this. 60 thousand that know what's at stake. ..screaming for everything, pressuring every decision and roaring us on. I think it could be a key factor as that mob have been known to bottle it under pressure..

Some slight concerns but let's hope we get one more big performance before we get player's like Maeda, Rogic, Bitton, Jullien etc back in to the fold....as well as Kyogo and McGregor after..

Look at Japan lineups throughout qualifiers. Coach has played same front 3 every game when they've been available. It's why Kyogo barley got more than 30 mins each game when he was away. No chance whatsoever Maeda plays 90 mins for Japan. Anything less than half an hour and he'll be good to go Wednesday nite. Tuesdays training session will probably be more strenuous than Maeda's 30 min cameo against Saudi Arabia

A draw wouldny be a disaster, but I think we'll win.

Obviously the crowd and atmosphere is intense in any derby game against the zombies but there is no doubt midweek games under the lights have a little extra so hopefully that will help us get over the line on Wednesday.

I was of the same mind and it has been really disappointing to see how bang average at best McCarthy has been other then a few flashes here and there. But hopefully his experience of playing in so many big games will come to the fore Wednesday as we really need him to produce a big performance.

The 2 keys for me IMHO are can our midfield 3 of most likely McCarthy, Hatate and O'Riley get on top of their midfield and can our back line defend at set pieces in the air. If we do get on top in those 2 areas that would put us in a really strong position.

I've kinda talked myself out of being confident for this one. Absentees are massive. Can't see Calmac being back and I don't trust McCarthy to play well enough. Also you can never tell how well new players will do in this fixture, I'd hope Hatate, O'Rileyand Giakoumakis can step up but I'm not confident. Abada being anonymous at Ibrox springs to mind.

Hope we win. It'll be close

I think that despite our absentees, our verve, energy and tempo will be difficult for them to cope with. We're a young, progressive team on the up, they're an ageing, negative team on the decline that was never even good in the first place.

The atmosphere for this will be electric. Some buzz going into each and every game just now.

As long as the ref chooses not to impose himself on the game, then 1 - 0.

Considering the players we have missing for this I would take a draw right now

Eff knows why they arranged it during an international week. At the moment, we're quite impotent up front but for some weird reason, I expect Giakoumakis to rise to the occasion. Now that we've dragged two points back, a draw won't be a disaster especially once we're back to full strength. We're due a win but I have no idea how to call the game!
After doing dry January and saving £250 in booze fees (mental hey!) I'm debating whether to get the beers in for the game or just carry on the dry train! Ah who knows!
