He's a better choice than Taylor imo. Taylor looks like someone's nephew compared to the rest of our squad.

Club doctor isn’t happy with the reduction in swelling, but he is involved in training today :fear:

I think there is no reason for him not to be training regardless. Its more like heading and aerial challenges that are a worry

Quite liked jota and jj on the left, although jj is better at rb.

Tbh Ralston early form has curtailed, but would still go with him and move jj as taylor is rank. Both actually got bitton sent off with woeful play.

Fullbacks are my worry and their wide players.

Don't think it rattled us at all.

Bar a brief spell ìn the second half, we were comfortably the better team throughout the match.

In both halves we created the better chances. Their solitary goal came from a set piece.

My main worry is that we yet again fail to take advantage of the chances we create. That's become a pattern throughout the season. I honestly can't remember a Celtic team as wasteful as this current team.

We've been wasteful for years, although not in Europe as much where we get half the chances but knock 6 past Betis.

It's a good time to bet on the starting XI, if that kind of betting is possible at your local bookie. So many absentees, so many possible combinations. Forrest and Giakoumakis have not impressed, so I could see Juranović at RW.

Domestically there's always going to be some wastage as you're not going to convert every chance.

But this season has undoubtedly been the worst. The first few games in I thought it was just coincidental but it's continued ever since. It's a pattern.

    * this kak....... lets go for a point ,,,,,, * that..... lets win the game ,,, if people on here think a draw is good enough at...... PARKHEED....... go into the dressing room and tell the Celtic players a draw is good enough. You would be leaving on a stretcher and that would be the tea lady kicking * out of you.

I could see him on the bench maybe but I just do not see him starting even if he doesn't play for Japan tomorrow that is still one heck of a flight back to then turn around and play in such a big game a day later.

I think it will be Giakoumakis through the middle up top with Abada on the right and Forrest an option off the bench.

Would love it if they did but the best we can hope for is Maeda is ok to make the bench IMHO.

He might do that certainly. We will all find out soon enough.

I'm only saying Taylor because he gives natural width. All wide players need to have paint on the boots to stretch them on Wed night
