I thought of putting this in the fan section, but since it was inspired by yesterday, I'll put it here.

The fans in the stands could spice games up adding some Japanese to their chants. A fitting, yet simple word that's easy to chant is...

    senmetsu

Means destruction/annihilation. Quite apt description of what Hatate did to the Huns last night, no?

Pronounce sen like send, and metsu like the city of Metz, or the last three letters of let's, but change the l for an m.

A very similar meaning is conveyed by using a Z as the first sound. Zenmetsu means annihilation/eradication. There two words are written in different kanji, but for the fans, chanting them is what matters. So, when fans want a pumping, this seems quite fitting to spur Hatate and co. on.

Fair play to Easter island for sticking around to shake everyone’s hand.

I’d have been right down the tunnel tbh.

His career basically ended in that game, 29 year old playing like a 39 year old. His legs have been gone for a couple of years but we finally gave him the showing up he needed to tip him over the edge.

I’ve seen a few comments about
Roll with it at the end being played for Wim Jansen, excuse my ignorance what’s the link there
I presume it was out around the time he was in charge, did we play it after a big win when he was here?

I don't know if anyone has said on here yet but I just watched the highlights and I noticed the 2 ball boys behind McGregor when the 1st goal goes in they're giving him the finger:56::56:funny as anything.

O I agree with you about Hart. I was being tongue in cheek there as I mentioned elsewhere.

Our style of play takes a lot of energy so we might tire a bit in the 2nd half. When we've got our full squad available we can change the whole midfield after 45-60 mins if we want to and not be any weaker.

So true what your saying there. Look we all loved every minute of the battering's we gave the zombies under the rat but they had better players in their team last night and really only McGregor kept the score down to matching those scorlines last night . It could easily have been 5 or 6 from us in the first half.

My memories of around that time after a big win was they'd play U2's Sweetest Thing over the tannoy.

They may've played Oasis as well but I don't recall that off the top of my head, and stand to be corrected if anyone may have a more definitive recollections.

Yeahm but that was a couple of years after that. In the late 90's when Wim Jansen and then Dr Venglos were is when I'm referring to.
