I'm not a fan of us playing a 3-5-2, I struggle to think of any decent performances we've put in playing it. A lot of our joy against the tributes in recent years has came from exploiting their full backs and going 3-5-2 limits us out in the wide areas, stops any overlapping and pins the likes of Forrest back in our own half.
The result is we're forced to through the middle and if teams load bodies in there we struggle to break through.
For me 4-2-3-1 is easily our most effective formation and it's what we should go with against the hun. The personnel are up for debate. -

That’s just for attacking mate, when defending KT or Forrest slot in as a 4th defender. Don’t plan on doing much defending anyway, we’ll be the ones pinning their wingers back.
I know we’ll go for 433 but that’s exactly what they’ll go for but a defensive type, 352 allows us to go man for man using Boyata and Ajer effectively as full backs.
