I wouldn't have thought so mate. Pretty sure Sky were promoting both semi's today so I doubt they would let anyone else show it as well.

3.8 Serving of Suspensions Suspensions incurred by players shall be served in the competition in which they are incurred and shall be measured by the relevant team of the club (i.e. the team in which the player normally plays) playing the requisite number of matches.

The following qualification applies:- – A player who is sent off for serious foul play or violent conduct is suspended automatically until such time as his club's team(s) has completed a match in a competition for which he would otherwise be eligible for selection. – A player who is sent off for spitting at an opponent or any other person is suspended automatically until such time as his club’s team(s) has completed its next two matches in competitions for which he would otherwise be eligible for selection. (Please refer to Appendix 4 - Guidance Notes on Serving of Suspensions).

 

It's the qualification the SFA have put in that allows his suspension to transfer over to the Scottish Cup match.
He will need to appeal.

I'm more concerned heading into this game than I have been about any of the previous three games against them this season. A - because it's a one off game and the Treble is burst if we don't win, and B - because it just feels like we've been wandering a bit in the last two or three games. I'm still firmly of the belief that they are * and that if we play how we can we will beat them convincingly, but I am nervous about it all going wrong here. Losing to them would be really hard to take.

 

My feelings exactly mate, really dreading this game. Hope the Bhoys pull off a helluva performance.

 

I was very disappointed with the way we started the last game against them. I can't imagine after failing to win that game and with the way we were cheated today that we will start so slack. Today was * and I am still fuming but in some way it might actually fire us up a bit more. That was certainly as angry as I have seen Brendan so I am pretty sure he will be making sure everyone is up for the game next week.

 

Players have taken their eye off the ball slightly, if we go back to 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 we will win.

Well, if the players aren't up for it next week they really don't deserve to be playing for Celtic. Our players should always be up for it against that lot. That was what * me off most about the last game against them, it really felt like their players wanted it more. I can never accept that. They also outplayed us for the first half hour at the Bigotdome so it would be nice if we came out the traps flying next week and imposed ourselves on them instead of the other way round. Starting fast has been one of our trademarks this season after all.

 

Brown will be available for this. He should definitely start. The huns will try and wind him up, which could work to our advantage if we and Brown play it right.

 

Same here. Very concerned! They will be well up for it. I know their * but anything can happen in a game of football. It could all go horribly wrong for us however, I think well do it. Its going to be a really scrappy game!

 

We will beat them, Scott Brown or no Scott Brown. Today's antics will fire up our players.
