Neither of you guys like Rogic starting this one? I think now that he's gotten some of the rust off this is really his game to come back and prove himself. I could get behind starting Kolo back there though.

Agree with Rogic mate, the last time Kolo came in from the cold was against Motherwell at fir park we were 2-0 down after 15 minutes and the big man was at fault for both goals, no worth the risk

Yeah I agree it's a bit of a risk, but I also feel like it's a bit of a risk with both Boyata and Erik haha. I know Boyata has been solid for the past few months but I still feel like he has a mistake in him. There's also the possibility of Lustig at CB with Gamboa at RB. Though if Brendan decides to go either the Kolo or Lustig route it's kind of showing a lack of confidence in our CBs for the 'big game'. As always, we'll just have to trust in Brendan to pick the right team :34:

    Lustig Boyata Jozo Tierney
    Armstrong Brown
    Roberts Rogic Sinclair
    Dembele

    That's your team.

Would play roberts. He can supply the through balls for moussa n scotty, quick 1-2s their defence needs turned and paddy does it every game. James pace towards the end will be useful

kolo? He will not and should not be anywhere near the starting line up. Boyata all the way.

Roberts in for forrest and big tam should be starting, if hes blowing out his * after an hour, forrest on for him, switch paddy in to the middle and forrest out wide.

    thats our team.

It'll be interesting who we start in AMC with, Rogic or Paddy.

I don't think they have any defending midfielder that can handle either of our two.

    Haliday - Pish
    Toral - No a DM
Holt - No a DM and Pish to boot
Hyndman - Good player but they will want him in a more attacking sense.

Scott, Tom and Paddy looks a good shout behing Dembele as Aidan O'shea mentions.

Can't be bothered discussing possible line-up for this...

We have had 2 chances to put them in their box since the CP 5-1 game and been sloppy and complacent both times.

The recent Hampden Hoodoo is over, a 2nd Celtic 11 should be able to do the business against that dross.

Whoever the 11 are... They just need to get out there and show the durties who the top dogs are and quench any talk of closing gaps and ' not so far apart' and ' 3 decent players away from topping Celtic' and other pish.

Just get out there and fkn do them so hard that 'honest mistakes' won't even matter.
If you're 3-0 up at half time, it'll be one-way traffic from there and 9 men would still win.

    Cmon Bhoys... Batter them!

It's imperative we start the game stronger- in almost every game against the Huns this season they've started the game with a faster intensity etc

Paddy over forrest for me. but think either should dominate their young lb, despite him looking a decent in the few games he's played.

agree with needing to start the game strongly. an goal inside the first 15-20 and i think we should control the rest of the game.

never confident about games at hampden but intae them celtic!

Don't know if throwing Rogic in to the start of this game is wise, looked a yard or two off to me when he's played since coming back, which is totally understandable. McGregor is comfortable enough and tidy enough that it wont be a big miss. Roberts starting instead of Forrest for me as well, just offers more, particularly in games like this. As for the back for, Jozo and Deebo in the middle. Reckon Gamboa should start this one, Lustig was poor in the last one and got absolutely murdered off Mackay all game at Ibrox, but i'm not sure Brendan would start Gamboa against them.

I don't think Rogic has shaken the rust off yet, that's the problem. He was anonymous on Sunday. If he was 100% up to speed then I'd play him but he's not even close in my estimation. I'd have him on the bench.

There are two players in our squad I just don't rate - Boyata and McGregor. There would need to be an injury crisis before I'd pick either of those two.

I've always had McGregor down as a squad player but his work rate is good and he usually makes a good contribution.
