I may be being a little harsh calling for Boyata to be dropped but Jozo and Erik is the best and most reliable partnership at the back for me.

Gamboa maybe coming in to replace Lustig to match McKay's pace could be a good shout also, as previously posted by a couple of you.

 

I know they are *! And were on fire and I'm hoping for a high scoring game however they supposed to be getting new manager on Monday so this * could have them fired up. * like that usually gives teams a shot in the arm when someone new comes in. * it, I'll be happy with 4-0 instead of 7-1!

Boyata struggled a bit today, but so did Erik and Erik has been a bit off form of late. The tribute act struggle to defend set pieces, Boyata is our biggest aerial threat.

I'd love to see Brendan go with Griffiths in the hole as he did well in there today and some of the link up was fantastic. I think he'll go with Bitton though and keep Griff up his sleeve if needs be.

My biggest worry ahead of the game next week is the pitch though. Criminal that it's in such a bad state, a huge disadvantage to us and the style we want to play.

 

Would definitely start Gamboa against them as Lustig struggled last time.

 

Not to mention the outstanding performance by the Officials - World Class Bastardry

Not a chance Griff and Dembele start. Don't see any need for it, if it ain't broken..

The only changes Rodgers will be mulling over is at right back or centre half. The rest is business as usual.

Will be interesting to see who Rodgers picks for those two positions.

 

I think he'll stick with Boyata and put in Gamboa for Lustig

 

If I was picking the team i'd go

Ideally i'd have Simunovic and Rogic playing and i'd probably also have picked Forrest instead of Roberts but they're likely missing and if not Jozo and Forrest havent played in couple of weeks now.

Their only threat will be McKay if he's playing against Lustig as if he gets past Lustig then Lustig can't catch him, with Gamboa there'd be no problem.

Rodgers won't pick that I dont think though he'll probably pick Lustig and Bitton instead of Gamboa and Griffiths just for extra security in the air even though Sevco are * in the air anyway.

 

I'd pick this team too. But it leaves us short on the bench in regards to strikers. I think it'll be Bitton beside Brown and Armstrong in the 10 position.

 

I just say let's * smash them.
