After i left school, i got a job working in a factory making 40ft trailers. One xmass there was a dart competition and there was something like 100 people or more entered it, 90% huns. I got into th esemi final without even throwing a dart because every time i drew a hun, the * wouldnt play me so i got through to the next round. Pure * scummy behaviour from them. Think i was only 17 and theres grown men carrying on like this because i was never afraid of hiding my colours.

Celtic icon reckons Hoops aiming for record win over Rangers

As reported by The Scottish Sun, former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie reckons that Brendan Rodgers’ Bhoys are aiming for a club record win over their rivals this weekend.

    What’s the story?
Anticipation is building for what is sure to be another pulsating and engrossing derby at Celtic Park on Sunday as the Hoops welcome Rangers in league action.

    The Game Boy Returns!
Game Boy resurrects and becomes "Super Retro Boy," a new and improved version of one of the first video game consoles, scheduled for August and can cost about $ 80

Rangers have already lost three times to Celtic this season and the task of beating them on their own patch has never seemed greater.

That might be why former Celtic star McAvennie reckons they could be on the end of a hiding never seen before in the fixture.

As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said:

Brendan will be thinking ‘Let’s see if we can beat them 7-0 or 8-0’. The manager won’t say it because he won’t be disrespectful to Rangers. He’ll just want to go and win the game. But if Celtic can get the game won then it might be a case of thinking ‘Let’s kick on and get a few’.

Can it be done or is McAvennie, who scored 3 goals in 9 appearances against Rangers, simply winding rival fans up before the match?

    The precedent to beat
Celtic’s record win over Rangers is a well known tale to supporters. In the Scottish League Cup final of 1957 Celtic met the Gers at Hampden and thrashed them 7-1 in a performance that was so good it spawned a song that is still recognisable to fans today.

The Hoops of course racked up quite a score earlier in the season when they thumped Mark Warburton’s side 5-1 at Celtic Park. The last time they scored more than 5 goals against their city rivals was way back in 2000 when Martin O’Neill’s team won a famous 6-2 game at Celtic Park.

Quite the task then to pull off a record victory this time around.

Celtic have supplied some monstrous wins over other teams in recent years though, the last coming in May of 2016 when they destroyed Motherwell 7-0 in Ronny Deila’s last game. Earlier that season they defeated Hamilton 8-1 at Celtic Park and of course they famously destroyed Aberdeen 9-0 back in 2010.

While we’re sure Brendan Rodgers is solely focused on the win, is this sort of result in the back of supporters’ minds?

Who gives a flying * who the referee is? We've scored 8 goals in 3 games against them, had no red cards or penalties against us.
