the reason kayal might not be playing much just now is it is ramadan and he might not have as much energy as usual due to not eating as much?

Honestly can't wait for this! Haven't thought of much else, just trusting Lenny does the right thing with regards to team selection. The only thing I think is that I'd like wee jamesy to start, get right at them from the start.

just not strong enough as a team, will waste most of the match with sideways passing, and back passing and before you know it! we will be chasing the game, we will use wing back play but will have no one in the box to connect with the 2 you are proposing as the 2 are like strangers in any game i have watched. they play far to far apart and 2 strikers against 5 defenders dont go. the players in the middle of the park don't get forward in attack and they don't get back in defence. so any team playing to banks of 5 have us in there pocket. we are crap at corners yet we are sending up wing back to lobe the ball in then that leaves us wide open at the back as the ball is then snapped up at there end, and played into there 5 come attacking forwards, to our then 3 defenders as we have let the wing backs go up the park for he haw.

Lenny needs to get his team absolutely spot on tomorrow, and we need to come flying out the traps. Otherwise it could well be a long night.

Just something I forgot to mention.

We can't afford to have ANY passengers tommorow night, players like Brown who are sometimes culpable of going missing in big games. Sammy too, on form he can be our best weapon on the counter, which is how we'll play, we can't afford him to a passenger.

Lustig. I imagine he'll play tommorow, more fitness than Rogne and we need Matthew at right full back, Mikael has been guilty of losing concentration at times - Norwich, playing Holt onside - it's paramount that he doesnt do this. Big crows 45k+, big atmosphere, he must stay tuned in for the 90.

    That's me...

    I think.

playing in Europe you need 4 going on-5 forwards 2 midfield and 4 holding backs never to come out any further than there 18 yard line. getting them to stay there is the most important part of the game thats is where they are needed not show boaters up the park wing backs. you have only weakened your own goals and defence of it. if you can play your four attackers there is a player there for every player you play 2 strikers and you find out quick that there players doubled up on your 2 strikers and that is the quickest way to tire you forwards out. you get 5 in attack all fast play you will have the defence blowing out there *.

In my line up, only Forrest, Samaras and Hooper would be out and out attackers. Brown, Wanyama and Ledley would all dictate the middle of the park with the occassional run forward from Joe most likely. Without sounding cocky, I think my line up has the best balance between defence and attack with options like Kayal, Commons, McCourt and Stokes to come off the bench.

    Right, my team.

    Forster
    Matthews Lustig Mulgrew Izaguirre
    Commons Wayama Brown Ledley Samaras
    Hooper

Despite what I said about Forrest, he may be better effective from the bench.

Does anyone know how far the roof covers the Lisbon Lions stand?

I know it's going to be wet tomorrow but I'm sitting 8 rows up so I'm hoping I would just be covered. I've seen the lower rows get a soaking before :56:
