I am confident we'll win at home, by more than a goal.

It comes down to tactics in the second match. We need to be smart and go for damage limitation. This means not starting Hooper and Stokes together, etc.

    We should qualify. :celt_2:

We need at least a 2 goal lead to take over there and then play 4-5-1 with Sammy up top on his own.

I doubt we will be playing 3 at the back again any time soon, at least in Europe.

As long as we do not play 3 at the back away I feel we will go through, dont think we will blow them away though. Hopefully we have learned from todays result and it has given us a well needed kick up the *. If we manage to beat Helsinki we will need to improve even further for the playoff as we are likely to face a decent side.

We'll win 3-0 at home and draw 0-0 away IMO.

I'm being completely honest, im not saying this to get people * or start stupid arguments, Just stating my completely honest opinion here, and that is that we will not beat HJK or the team we will get in the europa league playoff. I don't know how it happened so quickly but the SPL is the same quality as the irish league at this state, maybe slightly better to be fair but not by much. I don't know, maybe my mind is making me think this so if we do qualify it's more special but i'm not sure. It doesn't feel like worry or fear. It's just acceptance

Would like to see this at home...

    Forster
    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Kayal Ledley Sammy
    Stokes Hooper

And then this away if we get the right result at home

    Forster
    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Izzy
    Wanyama
    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons/Forrest
    Sammy

Assuming we don't sign anyone of course.

What I found particularly intriguing yesterday was a Helsinki fan saying that their defence wasn't good at all. Similar to ours? I think it's fair to say, this could be a high-scoring couple of games.

theirs is probably worse than ours, as hard as it is to believe :56: We need to go all out attack at home, knock at least 3 past them. I wont settle for less Im afraid:50:

even if we win 3 nil at home, i am still not confident going away to anybody as we seem to crumble and give away a goal in the first few minutes

I'd say 2-0 win at home, and 2-0 defeat away. What happens in extra time is anyones guess.

Have to remember even without signings we're still stronger in the fact that our team has played with each other yet another year, show them no respect we duff them home then away! It doesnt always work out out like that for us though.

By the time we play HJK they will have had 19 competitive matches, this could be trouble, we only just beat this side in the MON days and we had fantastic players then.
