i dont agree with hoopers praise, he wasnt his best he was far from it, despite the goal, 100% agree wanyama needs to be in midfield.

he makes tackles but sometimes needs someone behind him for the support of them

the games going to be one nervous game, the boys can surely keep there nerve for it, there is no one to kick out an opponent to help us this time, we loose and weve blown it!

Agree. Commons was below par in the first but just coming on to a game when he was subbed. Stokes is just not a CL type player at all. For me, he's still a Hibs man.

Helsinki are a poor team if we don't knock them out we may aswell just give up football.

not too disappointed with result, although we really shouldnt have conceded. such a * goal to lose. If brown stays goal side of his runner, theres no danger.

i am confident with another 90 mins under our belt we'll win or at least draw in Finland

Not sure about the nmix up with Hooper and Forest. For me Hooper should have left it as Forest was bombarding forward. Great second half performance despite the conbceded goal.

Aberdeen at the weekend under our belt, that will give us the fitness boost for the second leg next week. Lennon does need to learn however that we need to make quick changes when Sammy goes for a sleep on us

We weren't brilliant but Helsinki were * average tonight, no better than a Killie or Dundee Utd coming to Parkhead, if we were 20 games through our season we would have taken 5 or 6 off them tonight.

I have complete faith we will destroy them over there and go through with ease.

I'm very confident we'll finish the job over there.

Maybe not win but a draw:50:

I think we done ok. We ran all over them in the 2nd half after they scored, but for most of the first half we looked pretty flat. I think we are more than capable of going through against this team, but as history has shown, we are more than capable of blowing it big time. I think there will be goals for both sides next week but I dont think we will get nearly as many chances as tonight and we will have to do a bit more defending.

Still very very close in my opinion

No, read, and understand my answer.

I watched them when they were a football team with a football manager.

    That's when I enjoyed it.

No, if you are honest....we are not great.

Yeah Sammy isn't a natural cf. There was a ball to the back post and I think it was big Vic that headed it back towards the edge of the six yard box and Sammy didn't attack it. He did set up Hooper for the goal right enough and played a good ball in for Forrest when we could have had a pen.

Only caught the last 20 mins and seen the highlights of the goals, not overly happy with the result especially considering the possession we had. Worried for next week.

i highly doubt we'll destroy them on their own artificial pitch in only 1 week if we couldn't do it at home

Bringing a win into the 2nd leg. Not bad for our first competitive game.

2-1 is not a bad result for our first european game of the season! Happy tims all around here. No reason to sulk the away goal! We'll get them in Finland next week! :celt_2:
