all we can hope now is the better SPL teams give Rangers as much trouble. Normally I would like a competitive SPL (I hate turkey shoots even at Xmas:icon_mrgreen:)but not when rangers keep grinding them out. We are a better side than Rangers but they just have that grinding knack. At least this slump coincides with the window so we can improve and there is no point in complaining about player quality until we see who comes in. One plus point is that JVOH sounded back to form and his partnership with Skippy sounds promising. I aint going to let this game stress me out. The next few weeks will be very interesting . Its Xmas so lets keep the flamng down. Nollaig chridheil agus Bliadhna mhath ùr

We'll get the sh*t kicked out of us! GS hasn't pulled off the great results this year!! It's the fans that spur us on not him!! I agree though, if we do get beat then we should go for McGhee before Scotland get him! or get Tommy Burns back in the drivers seat!

did you call for MON to get sacked when he blew the league in his third season? WGS will not get sacked this year even if he blows the league. I can almost guarantee that. The club (if not all the fans) absolutely love WGS. He is moe likely to resign than be sacked IMO. Calm down, take a chill pil and a mince pie. Rangers may drop points tomo, then we may beat them and bring in 3 or 4 quality players.

The league is slipping away, we have to get maximum point over the Christmas period or kiss goodbye to the SPL and automatic qualification to the Champions League

The Celtic Song so long as Dean Park doesn't sing it.
I'm sick of this, chasing the * game for a winner or an equaliser, especially at home. Time this was sorted before we throw away the league or hand it to the scum. Are they on the * every night or are they taking the *?

keltoi u always have some intresting points to make and i respect ur opinion but u ask him if he called for MON's head when he lost the league. thats neither here nor there. the fact is celtic aint performing due to a * defence that everyone knew at the start of the season and nothing was done because the club refused to invest in it.

I wouldn't take those stats too seriously, Celtic were miles ahead in the league and the pressure was off, we gave a * but the players didn't, with regard to the last Huns game - best forgotten. WGS better be kicking balls in that dressing room and have some seriously good players lined up for January. We should be out of sight by now ffs! It's a bad run and time for it to stop.

Next game for Celtic is on Wednesday - away to Dundee UTD. That game is going to be a must win and must be backed up with a performance and a half. Though i know a Dundee UTD fan and he's more than confident they can take something from this game.

Celtic have lost the fear factor especially away from home.

The reason Celtic are struggling just now is because we are incapable of playing against a 4-5-1 system. Until Strachan matches up the midfield 5 v 5 we are will continue to struggle. Today our four defenders had one player to mark and could not do that properly. The answer is to go with 3 at the back, win the midfield battle and create more chances.

Caldwell, McManus, O'Dea at the back. A midfield 5 of Riordan, Brown, Hartley, Donati and McGeady. Perm any two up front and that is the answer.

Right now we are not winning the midfield and so are not pushing the opposition back far enough. It's making our defence look stupid and giving our forwards a hard time. Time to move away from the standard 4-4-2.

    We should have won today.

Their goal should have been stopped, Brown and Caldwell are being played out of position and it defo showed with Murphy's goal. Playing Scott Brown on the right is a * waste of a player, we would get the best out of him if he was playing in the middle.

Anyways, not worrying just yet. Rangers will probably be six ahead soon but we have still to play them three times ( twice at home ) and they will drop points against the others. The title aint over, we are just going through a bad spell just now but we will bounce back.

I was there and we were atrocious, lucky to get one point, Riordan should have been on earlier. It was one of the worst performances I've seen at CP and Celtic got booed off at the end...
