Excellent 1st half really sent out a message to the Huns with some of our play.if you take both games over the last 2 nights it's hard to see how we can be stopped.also the reaction from some of the fans when hibs scored was embarrassing.we were up 3-1 yet you could hear and feel the tension as if it was 2-1.need to cut that out for sure

first half was outstanding, good to see Stokes getting an early goal and Hooper grabbing a double, it could have finished with a much high scoreline but it didn't but i'm not complaining a nice easy 3-1 is more then I could have asked for really and I can totally understand why we would of slowed down in the 2nd half since we got another game on the weekend coming up.

one thing that worries thats not related to this result is the way a shyte pitch really does * up our flow just look at motherwell and hampden so I'll interested to see how our next few games pan out away from home

match could not have gone any sweeter for us right now, pre match what i was hoping for a few early goals which would see the game wrapped up by half time & a second half where we can make some subs, stroke the ball around & conserve energy for the run of games ahead.

what was important last night was winning & at the same time keeping the players & squad fresh for what lies ahead. Great to see Loovens & rogne share game time and Forrest & Ljungberg getting game time with Commons being given an easy night.

if we are to win the league we need to ensure our squad is fully utilised with our main players being kept fresh ie Kayal & Hooper.

Could have easily been about 6 but we took the foot off the gas at half time. Played some absolute lovely stuff; as we usually do when Stokes and Hooper is upfront.

Mark Wilson has been our most improved player this year. He's starting to do on the right what Izzy's been doing on the left. He was one of our best again against Hibs.

Good performance last night, particularly the 1st half.

Too many people panicing in the stands when Hibs got their penalty, they had 1 shot on goal all night apart from that and it was a free-kick straight at Forster. Celtic were in complete control the whole night, a job well done i say.

Kayal was immense, also really glad the Stokes/Hooper partnership got back on track.

First half we were immense and could have easily got 4 or 5 goals, Kayal was quality and delighted to see Stokes and Hooper back, both bagging goal/goals tonight.

Hooper's penatly was absolutely brillaint, you don't save them!!!

We were in complete control of this one and never looked in any real danger all night.

Second half we took our foot off the gas and didn't played very well but we kept it tight and despite giving away a penatly we did our job well.

Good solid win and 3 points to go with a decent performance :50:

Hope you aint 6 ft 7 and bald ...I might need a ladder:56: Believe it I'm too much of a lady to go clocking anyone :celt_2:

No I just think that sometimes players have an off day for whatever reason and the crowd are so unforgiving :54: He's likely trying to avoid a booking...can you imagine the abuse he would take if he was out of the huns game? He's been more effective in these games.

Too much anxiety and yelling obscenities doesn't help the team. Leave all that crap to the huns and try to push our lads over the line. I accept that there will always be fans who hate Broony for whatever reason but to me he's a Celtic Player and while he's on that pitch ...unless he does something like what that Saints player did the other day against the huns  I'm giving him 100% support.

Good game but aye where I got a seat the atmosphere was a bit rubbish but, we were at the wrong end of the ground for all the goals and most of the action! Good result good to see the midfield and the strikers linking better stokes and hooper for the win!

Was there last night, like most, thought it was a fantastic 1st half, probably as well as we've played all season.

Kayal, Wilson and Hooper were the stand outs for me but was hard to really fault anyone.

2nd half we took our foot off the gas and lost a sloppy goal, some of the panic from the crowd was way OTT though.

Had 2-0 on at the bookies at 11-2, * sake Charlie Mulgrew ... sigh ... :54:

After re-watching bits of the game and being at the game last night, I've got to say, Anthony Stokes was fantastic. His movement of the ball contributed massively to our success going forward. I thought it was a tremendous performance, which he capped of with yet another goal and an assist.

Stokes showed great composure for his goal, both he and Hooper seem to inspire each other, there seems to be more pace and directness when they are leading the attack:shamrock:

Superb first half performance from Celtic. Stokes and Hooper set the tone right from the off and really Hibs were lucky to be only 3-0 down at half. As much as the second half wasn't quite as brilliant as the first half I thought we were still pretty good and the fact we didn't score another 2 at least was again very fortunate for Hibs. As we really missed some gilt edged chances. But all in all you have to be very happy with such a good display.
