again Brown is the weakest link once more showed up again, cant be trusted with the goal gaping, also was not impressed with commons play, he looked jaded, but going on
what can we say about a player that was not given the full game, well he made Brown and Commons look like 2 bit pub players, but what we have in watt, these young lads, should be getting games. Twardzik and Watt will make it big, and if we dont get our act together these 2 lads will be off for next to nothing, as with any manager looking at these 2 guys will know they could steal them from Celtic for a few million. most of the game we did not get forward to kill the game of. and i am sure that is the weakest team we will meet from now on in. glad that we get the chance to get the sun tan lotion out once more.

Just in and thoroughly enjoyed every minute tonight. We controlled the game and to be honest you couldn't fault a single player. Everyone did exactly what was asked and needed of them.

Can hardly wait to see who we get in the group stage.

    butch has a point

we never played what i would call a good/entertaining football game, we had some good individual performances though samaras was superb so was wilson and forrest the rest of them were disciplined

and brown and commons were pretty average at best

    but all in all

these qualifiers are nightmarish games and we have a very young inexperienced team

i still would liked to have seen us outplaying helsingborg though

I was working for this, so got in expecting the highlights to be on ITV1 like last night. But no.

Anyone know where I can get highlights? I don't have Sky Sports.

I feel your having a go at Brown just to keep up your reputation as the guy who hates Brown.. He had a good game, helped control the midfield and we won the game comfortably. Watt won't be going anywhere soon and I haven't seen anything from Twardzik to suggest he will make it big as of yet.

So happy were back in europe though!

Did anyone else notice the green union jack someone had with them in the Jock Stein lower? haha, I don't personally mind it and if anything should be encouraged to show we aren't a narrow minded support and we accept people from any group, but I felt the person may have been taking a "mild" risk of another supporter reacting to it.

Not really anything to do with the game I suppose, so to stay on topic, after the first goal I think it was all but settled, even their players seemed to chuck it after that.
