Much better of course, Izzy had his best game in eons and far better performance all round than Sunday.

Defence still a massive worry and will be interesting to see how they cope against Zagreb next week

Diet Huns let us off the hook to be fair....could have been very different if the penalty or late first half chance was converted.

I will take this and move on....now for some consistency

That could be flipped round though. We could and maybe should have been out of sight before their chance before half time. Guidetti missed a great chance and had one cleared off the line, Alexander made a great save from his own player, and Stokes had a shot that went inches wide.

A thought Izzy Stokes Guidette and Broony were superb last night.

Scepovic looks like he could a very good player. Good touch and movement.

Unexpectedly got to watch the game last night, which i really enjoyed. Gotta love a bit of drama! Van Dijk is a bit lazy every now and again and it has huge outcomes if it's a CB. Goodwillie scored because he went to sleep and last night he gave away a pen. Obviously he's quite talented so I don't mind too much but I just hope he irons it out of his game or at least that we always get away with it.

Lots of positives, a few: Izzy bombing forward (want him to get a goal so bad!), the interplay of Stokes/Commons/Guidetti/McGregor, Guidetti shrugging people off and quite intelligent forward play, also having Broony back is a godsend.

Anyone notice paterson when he went out to take a throw by the main stand in the second half and collum was furiously blowing his whistle and ran over and pushed him to ram it sort of thing?

Just remembered that and was thinking he'd been arguing or summin with our fans?

Don't like that moany , diving rat featured tramp as it is..

Not sure if it's the same incident but there was something like that after a Hearts player went right through Stokes I'd say dangerously, thankfully he saw it coming. He's no Lustig anyway, shabby * needs a shave and a haircut lol.

not sure if its been mentioned, but the times wee looked better last night was when we attacked hearts at pace, none of this left to right passing, were every players in the team gets a touch. it was a more direct passing game at pace, and at times wee looked much better, but then at other teams we resorted to keeping the ball to try and force hearts out.and thats when it looked stale again

He always plays that way against us, not sure if he's like that in general..

He's a clatty *, looks like George groves trainer (paddy fitzpatricks) ugly brother..

When we pen teams in we look quality, it's the build up play to getting up the park that can be a problem..

When teams play with every man behind the ball (although Hearts played a more open game compared to Motherwell) it isn't always as simple as it sounds to break them down. Passing side to side is needed sometimes to control the game and wait for an opening - although I would agree we overdo it sometimes.

I can't see St Johnstone beating the huns. I was hoping the huns would draw the Arabs.

Hope the huns win so we can humiliate them, but i think that St. Johnstone will destroy them. They beat better sides in the EL qualifiers.

Winning this will galvanise the team and let the new players experience a Celtic cup win..

It will give Ronny the momentum he needs in this transitional season! :shamrock:

was a much better team performance last night

good tempo not that lazy arsed tempo we usually start off with

    thought all players played well

especially brown, johansen, stokes and emelio, guidetti and sepovic played well

it would be brilliant if stokes and emilio played like that every game and the right side were as good

overall we were pretty good but if we played that open against a european side we'd definately lose goals

    we overelaborate at times

i dont know how many times we go down the side or middle have an opening for a cross or shot but for whatever reason decide not to and back off and reset and start again trying to create an opening

It was a good performance and good to get a win. The diets have nothing to be to ashamed about either. They played well but just missed a couple of glorious chances. They just ran into a better team and could have lost by more than 3

Is it already determined that the winner of our game plays the winner in Sevco's? Or there's another fresh draw for that round?

Is there any benefits to playing Rangers ? We either get the win everyone expects or we suffer a humiliating defeat.
