I thought we were quite off at times, playin too deep and letting them play. But wen we wer playin good we wer lookin like a pretty good team. Should have been a few more Enyeama had a few good saves and Skippy missed a couple aswell. Overall decent performance and even though we're out of europe am glad we won and look like we can keep building on this. Here's hoping this is the lift we need to finally kick start our season

every1 has a go at us including our so called expert journos i would rather we had somethin 2 write home abt ie results wise cos lets face it we cant say we used 2 run over every team team that came 2 celtic park durin our so called home run shaktar being the most obvious so the point being i want respect from the turds that give us grief cos we lose a couple of games not sure we need 2 be patronised rite now lol

Try a couple of full stops now and then we might get the point your tryin to make :50:

    Nobody mention Crosas ?

Thought he was excellent tonight. Keeping the ball moving and providing some quality long balls.

I think sometimes the quiet ball playing midfielder gets overlooked in Scotland.

Thought he played a few dodgy passes as well tbh mate.

I like him as a player generally speaking, but didnt think it was his best night though.

got to agree mate, don't know how it looked from the t.v but we could have been better and yet again it comes down to not taking chances but, hopefully this is a confidence boost and we can build on this and take it into the league

A huge improvement in the 1st half from previous games but why do we get into the habit of playing suicide passes? We get into an area outside our own box and play it into tight spaces, putting ourselves under pressure.

Saying that, I thought we were very impressive in the 1st half, thats closer to what I'd like to see us playing, McGeady was a stand out and Sammy's header reminded me of Sutton against Lyon the way he glided onto the ball.

We obviously faded in the 2nd but even then we should have scored 2 or 3 more. Overall im very pleased with the performance tonight. Shame it's too late for our euro campaign.

Oh dear and now the wee toys have come out the pram. :bbpd:

You picked out my post mate, quoted it, and repiled to it in text gibberish, I had no idea what you were on about and still dont.

As for the full stops etc, call it friendly advice mate, the mods on this site will pull you up for writing in text-speak or not punctuating properly.

I'd agree with you, the job he does is often over looked because it's a case of getting the ball and moving it on. He played 1 or 2 sloppy passes tonight but overall he was quietly impressive.

I agree with that. I thought the team proved what we all knew, we have the better team and it's very unfortunate that we lost the 1st leg.

I thought Mowbray got the team selection spot on tonight.

Was disappointed with the missed chances but never mind, we won and kept a clean sheet.

We're moving the right direction, now we have to concentrate on getting the win on Saturday, tonight was all about maintaining momentum, we did that, now we have to build on it.

Typical of Celtic to leave a good performance for a game that doesn't matter. We done the same last year against Villareal. However, hopefully this is the start of a good run and we can extend our lead at the top of the league.
